You have to install drivers.....

The docking station does require drivers to fully function, but some of the ports will work without the drivers being installed. It seems like the dock is working well for you. Thank you for sharing your review.

The JCD543 does offer a lot of ports. Its primary feature is to give your laptop the ability to connect to three external monitors. It is also designed for your laptop to sit on top of the dock to save space in your work area.

Cheap but works

I can personally attest to the quality of this docking station. While I do not recommend it, I have dropped it off my desk and it still worked. The metal door that opens to the compartment where the host cable is attached will rattle a little, but the docking station is solid. We appreciate your feedback, and I hope that I have helped allay your concerns about the docking station.
