Poor performance

One of the monitor keeps freezing after couple of hours of use. I have to unplug and plug back the USB C every 2-3 hrs to make it work. Tried every other settings, but in vain. Do not recommend this product. Feels wasted $100..

I am sorry to hear that the docking station is not operating properly and causing you trouble. There are several things that can be checked to determine the cause of the monitor freezing. The JCD543 is a great solution to add to a newer laptop. The primary feature of this docking station is the ability to add three additional displays to your laptop. It is also designed for your laptop to sit on top of it, so it takes up very little space in your work area.

What a disappointment.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this to go with my almost-new Dell laptop so I could attach a couple of monitors, SSD, etc. Only _after_ the purchase, I found on the box, wording saying I 'Need to use with the original factory AC adapter'. OK, fine, got it right here. The power input on this docking station is USB-C. ONLY USB-C. My barely-two-months-old Dell laptop does not have USB-C for its power input. Hey, J5Create, if you are going to sell a docking station to work with various devices, you might want to make sure your product, out of the box, can be used. If I needed an extra item to go with the product (I do), you should tell me this CLEARLY in the product description (you did not). This docking station is a boat anchor.

The JCD543 does not require an A/C adapter to be plugged into it to function. The JCD543 is powered from your laptop. The message on the box is in regards to the pass through power function of the docking station. If your laptop was powered through a USB-C power supply you can plug that power supply into the JCD543 and it will then charge your laptop. So as long as your laptop has a USB-C port that supports display port alternate mode it will work to its fullest extent. I hope that this clarifies things. Posted .In order to achieve triple display with the USB-C Triple Display Docking Station the Type-C port on your computer must support DisplayPort Alternate Mode and the driver must be installed onto your computer which is only Windows and macOS compatible. Thank you.

The mini sd slot does not work. Customer support isn’t great either, I have been asking them for a timeline on upgrades to M1, but I get crickets.

At this time, we are placing all M1 Mac users on an "On-Hold" list and as soon as those drivers are available, you will be notified. In order to be placed on the on-hold list, we strongly recommend reaching out to the support team printed on the casing and a specialist will be ready to help along with troubleshooting the SD card reader not working properly.
