Cheap product, works most of the time

I bought another one and the same thing happened.

Not so great with ASUS Q427

Even the Bluetooth universal receiver for my mouse goes for a toss. I have to re-plug the type C to get the monitors connected.

Not having the driver installed properly can cause the docking station to not function correctly. Need to buy separate power adapter. Not great

Posted .The USB Type-C power-in port on the USB-C Triple Display Docking Station allows additional power to the USB ports If you are using a high-powered USB device, as well as pass-through charge with Power Delivery supported by a computer. The JCD543P comes with a Power Adapter, not the JCD543.

Our JCD3199 USB-C Dual 4K HDMI Docking Station has a longer cable length. Doesn't work out of the box.

Good luck with that happening if your using a work machine. Secondly, i could only get signal through one of the hdmi ports, the other didnt work at all.

My new HP Spectre laptop keeps loosing connection with the external monitor and hard drive that I have connected to it. Not sure if it's the dock or the laptop. So far not a good combination.

Posted .If you are using GPU-intensive workloads such as CAD or heavy video editing, unfortunately, the USB-C Triple Display Docking Station may not be able to handle that at a smooth pace, does well with light workloads instead.
