Posted .The USB-C Triple Display Docking Station requires DP Alt Mode features for the DP or HDMI port to function. Please refer to the manufacturer of your hardware for more information on your device.
Installation of a driver is needed for the VGA and stand alone HDMI port for proper functionality. Drivers are located on j5create website under the Support tab.

The main thing with this is yes it has almost every port you can think of, but it is big and bulky. I returned it for something more compact.

Execution however, not so much. It works ok on Windows 11. On Mac however you’re required to install a usb video driver. This driver makes your third display look like garbage. Considering Best Buy has this product in the Apple section of the store, you’d expect better quality from J5. It would have made more sense for this dock to use Apple hardware natively. This product is not ready for prime time by any means. Such a disappointment.

Not The Right one for a Mac

Changed cables, changed ports, and nothing. I'll be returning it as soon as my new one arrives from Amazon.

Not a worthy product

Below are the problems I was facing 1. Few days after use, out of two HDMI port starting giving trouble making the monitor display go on and off. I am quite sure my both monitors are in good condition and whichever monitor is connected to that defective HDMI port will show this sign. 2. After couple of weeks, my laptop stopped charging when connected from the docking station. I lost patience to use this item and thanks to best buy for the wonderful return policy. I dont trust j5Create.

You will need to go with the JCD543P, which will include a power adapter or JUP2290 100W PD USB-C Super Charger is sold separately for the JCD543. You may also use your own USB-C power-brick as well.

Posted .Hi and thank you for your review on the JCD543. If you are using an M1 Mac, our research and development team is still working on compatible software. If you have a Intel based Mac, we do have compatible software. Depending on what you are looking for in a hub, we may be able to recommend PnP models, but please keep in mind, PnP adapters only support one display per device. Stopped working after 2-3 days

When I connect it works then disconnects monitors/keyboard/mouse, then reconnects them, then disconnects them, and continues that cycle for at least 15 minutes until I unplug it. This happens every time i connect it which has been at least 5+ times.

Docking Station Review

I have a 2022 13" Macbook Pro M2 and I was able to plug this in to my dual monitor display (2 27" HP27f) monitors and was up in running within 15-20 minutes. The process was really easy and the monitors work great. The dock functions without power, but if you hook in a power source you can completely close the laptop and use an external keyboard and mouse. Wonderful product, very pleased.

The output for monitors is too graphics intensive for this device and runs clunky and slow. For some reason none of the usb ports work and thats enough to make it not worth the price. Taking it back once i get my new dock from amazon. Took a lot of fiddling around to get it to work on my alienware ultrawide and lg ultragear at the same time

The Alienware ultrawide and LG ultragear may need to be directly connected to the computer if the monitors have G-SYNC. The USB ports are intended for peripherals like mice, keyboards, flash drives.
