Died after 2 years.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Apparently the working life of items like this is less than 3 years. Purchased in June 2021 and in March 2024 I started having issues and I finally isolated the cause and it is this device.

Doesn't work with 3 monitors
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would not recommend anyone buy this display docking station if you plan on using 3 monitors. 2 of the monitors will frequently (like every 20 minutes) freeze up and require a restart to work again. Upon contacting support and troubleshooting for 2 weeks, they said "Unfortunately this is an issue we have observed with the JCD543 and our research and development team is looking into this issue to find a resolution as soon as possible".

This docking station is unstable with my laptos
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this product about 3 months ago but it was so unstable with HP ProBook 455 G6 + Acer monitors ( I have 2 monitors) and I tried to return this product but best buy support said my HP laptop and they did not accept this return I bought another laptop (Dell LATITUDE 7400) and it has the same problem to occur. I bought other model docking station on Amazon It does not have this kind of problem

Best Buy Gave Me a Used Docking Station
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This was a store pickup. I suspected it was used when the circular tape on box was crumpled. I knew it was when I opened it 30 minutes ago. The protective plastic bag was crumpled and where the bag was taped closed, there was a human hair stuck to the tape. The rubber mats on the bottom were dirty from where it had been on a surface. It will be returned tomorrow.

Kind of works

When using two HDMI cables, the HDMI 2 port keeps turning off and on, and the 1st one keeps freezing (this seems to be fixed if you unplug and plug the device back in. For the higher price of this, I would expect a device that was at least reliable. I would recommend getting something else.

Save Multiple Trips to the Store and Don't Buy

Bought the first, the DP/HDMI ports did not work. Returned it, got another one, ports worked fine. But on this one, the USB ports do not work. 3rd trip to the store not, I'll be getting something else.

Brand new 16" MacBook Pro, and unable to get it to recognize the hub. Followed instructions, worked with tech support. No Luck. Don't waste your time as I have.

Be a nice idea if it'd work right.

Drivers don't work with a UASP SSD drive plugged into the USB *ANYWHERE* on my Win 10 Professional system. Major problem- and Problem 2. There's more hinky going on, but the two things there is a deal breaker. Bought from Best Buy but didn't do it through online so it's not going to show verified As it stands, with modern machines, you can have up to three displays without drivers- and if it's DisplayPort, you can daisy chain them off of a single DP jack with the right hardware. There's no excuse/reason (saying, "Not Thunderbolt," is not an excuse, folks...) for this sort of thing. The driver part could be overlooked with it, well, WORKING. It can't be with it not working and major vendors able to do 2 and 3 displays properly on THEIR docks...without Thunderbolt. So that you know what's going on and understand. Display quits updating and has the LAST frame the display had as you go to actually access the USB MS/UASP device. Continues to display just that and never comes back. FAIL.

Posted .The USB-C Triple Display Docking Station requires an available USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and USB Power Delivery 2.0 or 3.0. It will also require an installation of a driver via VGA, Mic and the stand alone HDMI port for proper functionality. Drivers are available on j5create website under the "Support" tab. Posted .The USB-C Triple Display Docking Station is powered by a computer. A power adapter allows pass-through charge if a computer supports Power Delivery over USB-C. Please refer to the manufacturer of your hardware for more information on your device. The JCD543P comes with the power adapter.
