Will work for two minutes and then one monitor freezes. Should’ve put money down in a better quality product. Purposely bought this one because it made all the requirements for my 227 inch monitors. Ugh.

Posted .The USB-C Triple Display Docking Station requires that a computer supports DP Alt Mode and PD features for video out and pass-through charge. The Dock will also need an installation of a driver for proper functionality. Depending on the OS you have, different instructions apply. Amazing Run s 3 Monitors Off Laptop!

Almost immediate failure, poor support

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the device for a month, I've had the following issues: -unlike my last docking station, when it goes to sleep, all the screens lose their location, meaning that all apps are on different screens when I wake the system, so every time I log in, I need to rearrange all my apps, and that's a pain in the neck with seven screens. -a week after installation, the ethernet port failed. By the time I got support from J5, the poor BestBuy TWO WEEK return policy expired, so I have no choice but to request a replacement from J5. J5 will replace, but I need to send the old one back FIRST. They won't cross-ship, even after I offered to let them charge my credit card until they get the defective one back, but they won't do that either. So in order to get a replacement, I'd need to do without my seven screens for an unknown extended period of time while I ship the old one back and wait for a new one to be shipped. Working from an 11" laptop screen in my job is not possible, so I'll need to find a replacement and put the J5 device on eBay. (Seven screens on a Windows 10 machine? Yes...one direct from laptop HDMI port, three from the dock, one wireless and two using USB video converters).

Posted .The driver installation is mainly for the VGA, Mic, and the stand alone HDMI port.
Confirm that the Ethernet cable is not damaged and properly connected to both the docking station and your router or modem.
Try a different Ethernet cable if possible.

Thank you for reviewing the j5create triple display docking station. It does not require the power supply to function, but it can power your laptop if you do use a power supply. If your laptop has a USB-C power supply, you can use that with the docking station.

The fix for computers with limited number of ports

When connecting to HDMI, the screen flickers on and off, but also shortens (closes in) the width of the screen. I am going to try to get support to fix this, but may end of having to return this great little dock

Posted .If it's the HDMI under the word "OR", it's is a PnP. Computers must supports DisplayPort Alt Mode over USB-C. Please refer to the manufacturer of your hardware for more information on your device.
Works fine but could be defective

Now i can extend screens to multiple monitors. The only drawback is that the piece i bought had the second hdmi port not working. My laptop failed to identufy monitor connected to the hdmi

Doesn't work for all laptop/screen configurations

My HP laptop struggled to communicate to my 2 Dell monitors through this docking station. I ultimately had to purchase an HP docking station, and everything worked great.

3rd Display in "Triple Display" is VGA

The "third" display has to be VGA. Who runs a triple monitor setup in 2023 where the third display is VGA? I really wish this product worked for me but the marketing was a bit misleading on this one. Otherwise the driver installer looks like it was made in 1993.

This beauty did the trick and the cable is long enough that I can have it behind or to the side of my laptop.

Everyone should own one of these. Not overly expensive either which was a shock. I did have to call support when I first got it because there was an update from apple that required some changes to make this work. Support was awesome and knowledgable.

Only suggestion would be that it also "sleeps" when the computer sleeps. Monitors stay on and so does the speaker since the docking station is considered always plugged on
