Posted .The constant beeping and driver update errors suggest the dock is having difficulty maintaining a stable connection with your computer. The JCD543 requires a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and USB Power Delivery. Some USB-C ports are data-only and may not fully support the dock. Ensure your operating system is fully updated, as certain compatibility issues are resolved through Windows updates.

Not worth the hassle- only for ONE extra monitor

Then I plug in my laptop the next day and per usual the third screen does not work. I had to restart the computer every single time for it to catch. Then a week later it finally stopped working after restarting it. I was going to call tech support again and go through the drivers again, but decided to just buy a reliable product. I don't even have time to waste with the restarting portion every day let alone constantly needing to install and uninstall drivers every time I need to use a third monitor. Would not recommend. I would return if it wasn't too late or only use this for ONE extra monitor, that portion is reliable at least. I got this specifically for the 3rd monitor and the third monitor port is so unreliable I would not even consider it an option. It's like calling the kitchen sink a third bathroom.

Great Dock for the Office

Does what I need, the USB-C power pass through works great, overall very minimalist sitting under my laptop. My selling point was the USB-C coming out in both directions - love it. The only issue I have is that sometimes it freezes and I need cycle the plug from my computer. Now, I can't 100% blame the dock for this as it may be my laptop but, it's worth mentioning.

Perfect for most needs

Posted .HDMI or DisplayPort supports 4k @ 30Hz. Stand alone HDMI supports 4k @ 30Hz. Please refer to the manufacturer of your hardware for more information on your projector.

We appreciate your review of the JCD543. The docking station does require a driver download and we recommend that you download and install the drivers before plugging in the docking station. Once you do that you will have a wide array of ports added to your computer.
