I bought a new tower, and I wanted to add a second older monitor this was just want I needed

Great little dock for a basic setup. I work from home and have a HP laptop for work and a M1 MacBook Air for personal. Sometimes my wife wants to connect her work ThinkPad for a conference call, etc. I previously had a HP dock that only worked with my HP laptop, but wanted something universal that could handle all 3 laptops that didn't cost an arm and a leg and this one fit the bill. The manufacturer has posted on here that the drivers are only needed for the microphone, the HDMI port and the VGA port. We're not using any of those, so I can confirm that is accurate on both the PC and the Mac. I'm only using a single external monitor with QHD resolution and it outputs at native resolution via DisplayPort at 60Hz without issue. 4K output is limited to 30Hz, so something to think about if you have a 4K monitor. I also like that you can switch the configuration of which side the host cable comes out. My MacBook and my wife's ThinkPad have the Thunderbolt port on the left side and on my HP it's on the right. It's smaller than I expected based on the photos, which I appreciate. In terms of quibbles, it's pretty light and feels a little cheap, but that's to be expected at this price. Other than that, I do wish it had one more USB A port. I already have the 3 filled with mouse/KB wireless dongle, webcam and a wireless headset dongle.

does what it is supposed to do, is a support item so perfomance is hard to rate.

Great slim USB C dock. A single cable can handle 3 displays, a keyboard, a mouse, power for a HDMI to VGA adapter. Way better than the other chunky docks that cost way more that this one. I don't use the Ethernet because I use my WiFi card but I'm sure it works great too. The cable is long enough and you can route it on either the left or the right of the device for convenience and for the sake of keeping your desk neat.

Works with regular "C" port however not all the video ports work even with the software installed. The manufacture stated to get another, I did and it is the same. I will contact them again

Works really well for my work computer. I was able to hook up my 3 monitors to my laptop with ease.

While I couldn't figure out how to get both monitors to work by using this docking station, even by following the instructions, I still like it. I have most of my cords plugged in.

I use this with my MacBook Pro as well as several PC laptops. Drives my 4K display with no issues. Love having a single plug to both charge my MacBook as well as offer Ethernet, mouse and keyboard. Tilts the laptop up a bit which offers better cooling. Only real issue it’s a bit pricey, but because it’s so universally easy to use and transport, I still give it 5 stars. Also have called the company that makes this a couple times. They do have good technical support, which is always a plus.

I bought this for my new Lenovo Yoga Laptop and I love it! I have plugged in 2 additional monitors, wireless trackball mouse, CD rom, and plugged my external speaker up to it! I just lay my laptop down on top of it and plug in one cord and everything that I have plugged in works immediately! It is big enough to add my additions to it, but it doesn't take up much desk space at all. I Love It, I Love It!

I bought one of these for my chrome book and fell in love. I love the ports including HDMI, RJ45, SD cards, uSB 3.0, usb c with power etc. I love how my laptop balances like a real docking station, while neatly connecting with a usb c. All in a space saving slim profile! Moreover it is long enough to accommodate my 16 inch MacBook. I loved it so much that I got a second one for my MacBook Pro and Surface Book 3! Highly recommended!

One hdmi port did not work. I tried everything I could think of and then took it back. Seemed like it would be great if it had worked.

I was looking for 2 monitor display but unknowing i went to another city and saw this on sale for 99.99 but somehow it didnt work so thought of returning it but wabtee to give a last try and downloaded the drivers from their website and thats it...and from then it works like a star..you have more options than you need...the only thing that doesnt sork properly is the mobile charging port..my phones says the charging will be slow and it will take 5 or 10hrs to charge ypur phone but thats ok as i didnt buy for that purpose....over all SUPER HAPPY

I would have given this 5 stars if the charger provided the 60W my Dell Inspirion 2 in 1 needs. I had to order a separate 100 W charger. It has all the items I need - audio for speakers, VGS for monitor, USB for mouse and keyboard. I'm very happy with it.

This docking station was a game changer for me. Like many others, I created a home office during the pandemic. I had my laptop hooked up to my monitor, ring light, camera, etc. That was all fine and good while stuck at home but became a pain once I was working in home as well as other locations. Enter the j5create docking station. A quick connection from my laptop to the USB-C port and all of my devices are connected. When I take my laptop with me it's only one connection to disconnect and will be waiting for my return. I've had it for over 2 years with no issues.

I've probably purchased 10 of these for our office. It has everything you need to make your laptop a desktop replacement. The main reason for getting these is so we could output to dual monitors as well as use the laptop screen. We were even able to output to 3 external monitors simultaneously. Works with both PC and Mac. A little pricey but you are getting a lot of IO ports

Setup and operation going okay. Strip allows quicker and easier access to accessories without having to decipher wireless connections for easy individual accessory.

Love this little guy. I do wish it was more helpful getting airflow under the laptop to cool the unit. I love being able to hook up my old school ethernet connection display monitor and all the other goodies to minimize and tuck away all the wires. There are so many ports! I do not even know what they all are but plan to learn and fill em all up;)

A lot to like. A lot of ports, a great streamlined look, functions well. It feels a bit cheap but it works and looks good.

Overall this was a good purchase. I am able to connect either of my computers via the dock without any major issues that are the fault of the dock. The only drawback is that tone of the screws for the VGA port broke, but I am able to work around it.

Works well with my triple monitor setup I have at my home office.
