I wish it came with a protective case as I use this with my laptop and often am transporting it around. It is big on its own and I would feel alot better about carrying it on the go if it came with a case.

I utilize this with my Steam Deck for productivity purposes at work. This can be powered by the steam deck's factory charger, or with a anker powerport iii 65w / appropriate USB-C to USB-C cable. The wire to plug docked devices in can be moved to either side and has a decent length / area to hide extra wire. This is an improvement over the cheaper, smaller iterations and provides with a sleeker & less "hodge-podge" look. Only con so far: a little pricey

Also my monitor doesn’t have all features through this. So I have been just using it for the USB ports.

Works perfectly with Asus and Mac M1 Max

Just set it up yesterday, so I can’t speak to longevity. However, after updating max to latest OS then installing driver from j5 website, I have both computers running the laptop screen and 2 monitors as a triple monitor setup with it. It does appear that if you want to run a setup with 3 true monitors, one will have to run on a monitor vga cable, one on hdmi, and another can either be hdmi, or DisplayPort. But only 1 of these output at a time. So keep that in mind when setting it up.

It would be helpful if there was a way to wall mount it for small areas. Suggest possibly adding a way to wall mount the station.

Using this docking station I was able to connect 2 monitors, wireless keyboard and mouse and charge the laptop.

Posted .Just what you need all in one represents the JCD543; due to it's various ports and capabilities, this dock will meet all your needs while also allowing you to rest your laptop on top while in use.

(main cable neat fits inside). Doesnot come with USB 2.0 adapter. My computer did not have a USB - C port on my computer so I purchased the unit for its design but had to buy an adapter for USB to USB-C

Excellent docking station

I am running keyboard, mouse, monitor and external DVD reader/writer through the docking station with no problems. Only wish that it came with its own power source so that I could charge devices through it.

In regards to a power adapter, we have the JUP2290 which is specifically designed for the JCD543 and it outputs up to 100 watts for power; the JCD543 is able to handle up to 100 watts of power pass through charging itself.
