I use it for all of my computers - work (HP), MacBook and Surface Pro. Easy to plug in and dock any of them and get to work!

THIS DOCK MEANT I COULD CONNECT TO A 32IN TV AND BOOM-- EXTRA LARGE MONITOR TO USE. ON TOP OF THAT, IT GIVES ME BACK THE USB PORTS I LOST WHEN I GOT MY NEW MACBOOK (THE NEW MODELS ONLY HAVE 2 USB-C AND AN AUDIO HEADPHONE JACK). THIS IS A GREAT ACCESSORY AND I'M STARTING TO FIND IT INDISPENSABLE.

I used it to set up nest for my laptop. Hooked up monitor, camera, Blue mic, mouse/ keyboard receiver , etc. keeps all wires tucked away nicely. Has discreet c- cable that connects to my laptops. Best in its class, as it can hook up up to three monitors. However, there are two hdmi outlets. Highly recommend this product!

It's made it easy for me to be able to use a wireless keyboard, better webcam, second monitor, and external speakers. All I have to do is plug in the USB-C to the laptop I need at the time, and I'm all set. I don't have to move anything else on my desk other than the laptop.

A headache to set up, but it works

If you're on macOS make sure to read the instructions on their website carefully as their driver is not compatible with all versions. Once I got the driver installed on a compatible macOS version (Catalina), I was able to connect 2 monitors to my laptop before the connections started dropping. Took some more time to get it to finally work again.

This docking station does require software drivers to operate fully. Mac OS Catalina has added additional security features that will add steps when installing third party software drivers. Once the software drivers are allowed this docking station can support up to three additional monitors. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for the docking station.

Although easy to set up and connect laptop and additional monitors, sometimes both of the monitors freeze up and the mouse is no longer able to move through the attached monitors. The only thing I can do to correct is unplug the laptop from the docking station and then reconnect. I don’t know what else to do but I’m looking for the answer.

Not Compatible With HP Omen 15

I recently needed a docking station for it and happened to be at my local store looking at all of the different options. This one seemed to be the best one and nothing on the box stated that it would not be compatible with my device. It wasn't until I had gone through about an hour of setup, troubleshooting, and research that I found out that this item would not be compatible with my laptop. J5Create needs to be a lot more clear in their product descriptions, Quick Start guides, and website to show what devices will and won't be compatible with this item. So disappointed. I will have to return this item and I will not be trusting this brand until they clear up this issue. Shame on you J5.

Posted .The USB-C Triple Display Docking Station requires that your HP Omen 15 supports an available USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode and USB Power Delivery 2.0 or 3.0.Please refer to the manufacturer of your hardware for more information on your device
The Docking Station will also require an installation of a driver for the HDMI, VGA and Mic for proper functionality..

The reason it's not a 5 star review is that the power pass-through is not at the exact spec of my laptop so I get a weird warning on reboot. It seems to charge fine, but the warning is annoying.
