Good grip and zero setup. I could not find a better match for my HP Envy which had no Ethernet Jack and now I can add a 2 USB DVD Player as well.

Don't Do It!

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as it was supposed to be universal and work with the multiple different laptop brands we have (2-HPs, 1-Asus, 1-Dell) and allow me to connect two external monitors without having connectivity issues. However, it's total crap and doesn't work. Don't waste your money and stay away from it. I've tried multiple different cords as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the software and yet I only get one monitor at any given time so I'm still connecting one monitor directly to my laptop which is annoying hence the reason I wanted the docking station. I even purchased the J5 power cord for it thinking maybe it was power related but now I'm just out even more money.. I highly suggest not purchasing this docking station period, especially if you're intending to have more than one external display.

Posted .The docking station is a universal docking that can work with different brands of laptops, however in order for the docking station to output displays to all external monitors the driver must be installed and the USB-C port on the laptop must support DisplayPort Alternate Mode (supported by Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4 laptops). I like all the additional ports on it for other devices to plug into it. The tech at the store was not very helpful and actually gave me the wrong information on the product, however I was able to make it work.

However, I was suprised that there was no usbc charging cable in the box. You cant use and AC PC charger, so uou have to buy one seperate or rely on your laptop as a power source

Great Docking Station

I can add different storage devices, as well as a mouse and an extra monitor if needed. Could use a couple extra USB ports for digital art

Main display moves; frustrating

However, it does create display issues for me (and others), where the main display moves left or right, almost every day. The workaround has been to go to Windows display settings, advanced, choose the monitor, and change the Hz. I sometimes need to do this several times per day.

Great concept but didn't support my accessories

Two of the ports did not recognize anything was plugged in. Tried eight different items 2.0, 3.0, etc. Exhausted every idea I had. Still could be user error but it just didn't work for me.

Game changer

My mouse/keyboard was not responding well with my 4 port hub. Now I have my mouse, keyboard, printer, speakers, & monitor all set up through this jewel. It’s perfect & worth every penny.
