After playing around with it I was able to figure it out. With this you don’t have to worry about upgrading.

Posted .Properly adjusting the sound output can be tricky at times, we are glad to hear you were able to resolve the issue and the experience with the JCD543 has by far been perfect. It worked like a charm. Then, one day in September, it just broke down and stopped working. 'Enjoyed it while it lasted but won't be going with this brand anymore.

I have found if I unplug docking station from computer, start computer and then reconnect docking station, I am ok. Otherwise so far so good.

Pick another one if you have a MacBook

He uses a Dell laptop with his and doesn’t have any issues. I have a MacBook Pro, and it used to work great, but with any Apple updates, you have to remember to uninstall and reinstall new drivers and it’s an absolute pain. Customer service for j5 is ridiculous and gets back to your queries in about 3-5days. Very frustrating. It is also very expensive in comparison to other brands.
