Not long after purchasing, the second monitor refused to work (HDMI). The monitor works fine connected directly to the laptop, so it's not the monitor. Switched to VGA which worked briefly, then stopped working. Plugging/unplugging, etc, sometimes works, sometimes not. Not happy with this device. At least one extra monitor works.

Great Dock For MacBook Pro

It works great. it gives you so many option as for connection. Great for photographers. The only thing that I wasn't able to get to work as I hope was an older apple keyboards usb connection. The keyboard itself work but not the USB. I end up buying a usb 3 to USB 2 connector to plug the keyboard direct to the Mac.

One problem I'm having is internet through the attached ethernet cable suddenly disconnecting. This has happened very inconveniently when I'm leading Zoom meetings with 50 people in them. I've finally decided that it's the docking station, because other devices using my router have not stopped working. In order to get the ethernet connection working again, I have to eject the external hard drives connected to this docking station and then unplug and replug it to the mac. The other thing that doesn't work well is that if my external screen is turned off, the docking station doesn't seem to notice and the mac keeps putting windows up there. I can't use or close the windows, e.g. my browser, when the screen is turned off. So my mac thinks the browser is open, for instance, but I can't use it. This is inconvenient, because the screen is attached to a UPS, which takes time to fire up. I don't like this device. Now that I'm seeing that it is responsible for my Zoom meetings crashing I have to figure out whether it's still under warranty or not.

Posted .It sounds like you're experiencing several issues with the USB-C Triple Display Docking Station, particularly related to Ethernet connectivity and display behavior.
Ensure that the Ethernet cable is in good condition and securely connected to both the docking station and the router.
Check the settings on your router, including DHCP settings. Ensure that there are no conflicts with other devices on the network.
Adjust the power management settings on your Mac to ensure that it doesn't power down the USB ports, affecting the docking station's connectivity.
Check the graphics or display settings on your Mac. Ensure that it is configured to handle the external display properly, even when it is turned off.

Check the power settings on the external screen itself. Some monitors have settings related to power-saving modes and behavior when turned off.
**We advise no more than one (1) bus-powered/portable external hard disk drive to be connected to the Docking Station at a time.

I struggled to compare spreadsheets on a laptop with 1 additional monitor. Now have the laptop in the middle and 1 large monitor on each side. I feel much more productive and can have 2 different files open to refer to during virtual meetings. This docking station is fantastic!
