Posted .The JCD543P comes with a power adapter, unlike the JCD543. The JUP2290 is the power adapter for the JCD543 device. The Dock Station gets it's power when the host connection is connected to your computer. However, computers must support DP Alt Mode and PD over USB-C. Posted .Hello DaveJ, if your MacBook is running the M1 chip, the drivers will not be compatible. If you have the Intel, please download the 11 Display Driver on website and make sure to allow the drivers through. You may also reach out to us to help with installing the drivers to your computer. Don't Buy If You Have A Mac

It works intermittently with a Mac. It's very frustrating. Sometimes I plug in and only one of the two monitors works. This doesn't happen on my PC laptop--it works great with a PC.

The JCD543 requires a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and USB Power Delivery. Some USB-C ports are data-only and may not fully support the dock. Ensure your operating system is fully updated, as certain compatibility issues are resolved through Windows updates.
