This has come in handy with my MacBook Pro and extra screens and things to plug in. I’d recommend buying a new power supply for your laptop though so you can have one that stays at your desk and one you can take with you

One cable in and I currently have: Audio, External Monitor, Two external harddrives and power running to my MacBook Pro. Worth the money for the 100 watt passthrough. Had to call customer support because I had the wrong driver, they were quick and courteous and solved my issue within minutes.

Dock was a much needed item to add additional input options.

Lots od ports and connectivity seems to be rock solid.

Love everything about this! Lots of options, cable storage, and just enough of a tilt for the fan & for viewing!

Bought this for my kid to use on his laptop. It has quite a few ports but could use 2 or 3 more USB for the number of devices out there today. I work in computers and I can't seem to get the second HDMI port to work. It's probably just a driver issue but I quit trying after 30 mins of fiddling with it.

Works great for a PC however this could not power threes displays despite three computers tried. When used on Mac it woefully inadequate and refused to work for any longer than 30 minutes at a go.

Really can't beat this unit for the price, running three monitors off a laptop. I had two LCD screens and the screens would freeze once a day. I had to unplug the laptop from the docking station and plug it back in to get the screens back. Upgraded to LED screens and haven't had any issues since.

Went to the Apple store to find a multi plugin adapter and COVID made it very difficult to purchase anything without making an appointment just to buy one item, at a higher cost I might add! BestBuy was open and had better choices and prices. Purchased the top of the line adapter and I’m glad I did!

Great device. Must read the directions first, because you have to download a couple of drivers first !!!!!! I bought it for the VGA display port. Works great compared to the other device I had.

Nice dock that sits underneath the back edge of your laptop and frees up the desk space that might be taken by another style of dock that doesn't. Getting the video to work on two monitors took some trial and error but we finally got it worksing.

It has every port you need. It’s so helpful for me.

I bought mine brand new, its get the job done while i wait to be able to afford a better docking station, but some of the ports just dont work which was fun to figure out.

This docking station worked well for our needs. Had some HDMI display issues initially but found switching cables fixed the issue. (The screen was flickering to black occasionally.)

Very effective. Third monitor not so automatic. Otherwise, very good.

This dock is great. It charges ny laptop while also allowing it to connect to 3 monitors. Its amazing for the price.

This was the docking station we upgraded to. It turns out this one is not compatible with Big Sur. After checking, we learned this brand, j5 had software issues, no matter hat size. So, we returned this docking station. This one would have been fantastic if compatible with our laptop.

Would not work with my new laptop HP 360 Envy. Called Geek squad and unable to help me. Called tech support on J5create and unable to help me. Was going to give up, but tried it on older HP Spectre laptop and looks like it will work- issue is the power cord. Still not exactly what I wanted, was looking for for a locking/docking station but does not look like they make them anymore. Directions also almost non existent.

Useless product. It was fine for the first couple of weeks, but then one day I get an error about not enough power to use any of my peripherals that were plugged in. Now I can't use the HDMI port at all to plug into a second display, and the other USB ports only work half the time. I'd return it but it broke right after the return period. I don't recommend it. Also, try to get a hub that doesn't require you to manually install drivers. I tried to use this computer for work and it was a pain getting approval to get admin access to download drivers for this device to work in the first place.
