It seems like a well-made product but did provide more the 1 monitor when connected to my Macbook Pro M1 Laptop. Not because this product is at fault but because the M1 processor does not support more than one monitor over the USB-C Thunderbolt 3 protocol. You need to use a non-Thunderbolt product with the M1 Macbook pro to go to 3+ monitors with the M1 processor-based Macbook Pro series. j5create driver needs to be installed.

This unit was perfect for my new laptop, as a hardware accessible utility expansion for my office. Be sure to download the drivers off the website to enable complete functioning. Otherwise, its pretty basic as a bridge. Only 4 stars, because I haven't been able to use all the functions/features now available.

The docking station is easy to setup and is designed so the PC can sit on top of it. At first it had an issue with causing 1 HDMI display to freeze, but that has not happened for a while. It can have issues with sizing windows when (1) moving from a smaller display (like a laptop) to a larger display or (2) when opening new apps like Word. This is not a show stopper -- it requires resizing windows. I use a Lenovo docking station with a Lenovo laptop (supplied by my employer) and it has none of these issues. Lenovos are more expnsive (~$180 and up). For $100 the j5created docking station is a reasonable value.

I have a Dynabook laptop and had trouble finding an affordable docking station. This one works great, except I cannot get my internet to come through it. It might be on my end, I just haven't been able to troubleshoot correctly. The USB C connection is solid. The one I bought before this I had to return because the cable wasn't seated in the USB slot very well and would cause my docking station to come loose. This one doesn't have that issue. I love all the ports this one has for USB, HDMI, etc.

Nice product. Just plugged it in and everything worked right out of the box. I like that it fits right under the rear of my tablet. Lots of ports. I'm docking two dissimilar monitors plus the tablet, USB KB, bluetooth mouse, and external drive all with no problems

I needed a docking station that could connect my hp laptop to three external monitors. At the time, the hp-brand dock that could handle that was on backorder. I found this little guy and I’m glad I did! It works perfectly for my needs, was less expensive than the hp-brand dock, and was in stock at my local Best Buy. Now I buy this same dock anytime anyone at my office needs a laptop dock.

This is for people who don't have enough ports on their PC, or don't have certain ports, such as a SD card reader slot. Make sure your PC has a USB-C port to use this. Has a built-in compartment to stow away the USB connecting cable for portability. Can be optionally powered with another USB-C cable.

This USB docking station has been used with 2 HP laptops. Connected to it are 2 vides: both LG: One is a 32' LG flat screen and the 2nd/main is an LG 35" curved screen. In addition, it also powers 2 external hard drives. Compact and totally reliable.

I only have one display connected to this j5create docking station and so far so good. I got it to connect all the other things beside the monitor. The mouse, keyboard, and a few USB sticks. Its also nice to have only one cable going to the laptop. I had to purchase the insignia 90W USB-C power supply to connect to the j5create docking station and then I could plug in the HDMI cable for the monitor. I wouldn't recommend this model to everyone since it requires a USB-C power cable, but its ok if you don't mind purchasing the USB-C power cable separately.

With the attached USB-C cable, the dock will power and charge power-hungry laptops, with up to 100W Power Delivery and power your connected peripherals when it’s used with a USB-C power adapter. j5create

Great little dock for a basic setup. I work from home and have a HP laptop for work and a M1 MacBook Air for personal. Sometimes my wife wants to connect her work ThinkPad for a conference call, etc. I previously had a HP dock that only worked with my HP laptop, but wanted something universal that could handle all 3 laptops that didn't cost an arm and a leg and this one fit the bill. The manufacturer has posted on here that the drivers are only needed for the microphone, the HDMI port and the VGA port. We're not using any of those, so I can confirm that is accurate on both the PC and the Mac. I'm only using a single external monitor with QHD resolution and it outputs at native resolution via DisplayPort at 60Hz without issue. 4K output is limited to 30Hz, so something to think about if you have a 4K monitor. I also like that you can switch the configuration of which side the host cable comes out. My MacBook and my wife's ThinkPad have the Thunderbolt port on the left side and on my HP it's on the right. It's smaller than I expected based on the photos, which I appreciate. In terms of quibbles, it's pretty light and feels a little cheap, but that's to be expected at this price. Other than that, I do wish it had one more USB A port. I already have the 3 filled with mouse/KB wireless dongle, webcam and a wireless headset dongle.

Great slim USB C dock. A single cable can handle 3 displays, a keyboard, a mouse, power for a HDMI to VGA adapter. Way better than the other chunky docks that cost way more that this one. I don't use the Ethernet because I use my WiFi card but I'm sure it works great too. The cable is long enough and you can route it on either the left or the right of the device for convenience and for the sake of keeping your desk neat.

It worked right out of the box with 2 screens however, I downloaded the drivers to get the 3rd screen to work as instructed for my windows PC, and the screen flickers on and off. I tried older drivers just incase there was an update that caused issues l and still the same flickering effect. Ive been to busy to troubleshoot the issue. I will updatethia review when i get a chance. (Probably in 2 months)

Great docking station, no issues what so ever. I just wish the connecting cable was a little bit longer and one or two more USA-A ports and replace the display port with another HDMI port, other wise good station.
