One I received was partially defective in that the display port did not work, but otherwise it worked great and was conveniently small and lightweight. Will likely repurchase

This was a new product for me. I had been using an old lock down Dell docking station. I had to upgrade the old computer so I was forced to change the dock as well. It works great, Everything connected easily, much more compact and slim than the old one, and even fits on the desk better.

A lot to like. A lot of ports, a great streamlined look, functions well. It feels a bit cheap but it works and looks good.

While it can be called a docking station, it is not well designed and does not have any way to secure it to a post, desk, or other surface that would enable you to stabilize it and get full advantage of the many plug-in sites. Also, I think it would be better if there was an upgrade to Avid Power so that you could be sure that you could adequately support all of the docks and the docking places that it has.

If you need a good docking station for a “work at home”, or are building a gaming set-up using a laptop as your base, this is more than capable of getting the job done.

This has worked as I hoped, much better than the cheaper one I'd purchased! Sleek design, doesn't take up a ton of space but raises up the laptop a bit. Makes my home workstation nearly as nice as my work...!

Works great, but must download drivers from website not plug and play with windows 10. This unit works as expected and lover all the connections but you must download drivers before it works properly on all windows 10 computers at our office. This is a pain for the price but works great and has lasted multiple computers in the time since purchase 4 months ago

It does what it says on the title is a usb-c docking station, however the way they implemented the display outputs its really weird,the first displayport and hdmi port that are side by side work just fine, they are plug and play with the 3 usb-a ports, 1 usb-c port, the sd card and micro sd reader, and the gigabit ethernet port, however the second hdmi or the VGA ONLY work if you install their software, because those two outputs are done using something with usb video and software, and while it does work, its really laggy and doesnt give out the full performance i should expect from it, on windows and or mac, wich is why i mainly bought it because it was the only one that was usb-c since my windows machine would not work because it doesnt have thunderbolt even when my mac does

Excellent docking station for additional plug ins. Fits nicely under the laptop and out of the way.

I bought the a docking station, but it did not work and contacted support. They answered quickly during the week and determined that I needed to return the docking station and needed to get a different one. The 2nd one has worked perfect.

The idea behind it is great, and it would normally be a great device. The problem is that many laptops, mine included, pull air in from the sides and blow it straight down. So after 30 minutes of using this device, it stopped working properly because the computer was overheating it. So if you put it BEHIND your laptop and don't use it as it was intended, to prop up your laptop, you will likely be very happy with it.

I bought this for my laptop to hook up to dual monitors and that worked but I could never figure out how to set it up where I could close my laptop. Likely a user error but not 100% sure if it was that or this device. Otherwise, it worked for what I needed it for.

It took a while to get this set up, but I LOVE it. I'm a Windows PC user...new to the MacBook world... when hey! I discovered that there's no USB port... no HDMI, VGA display ports, no place to plugin microSD cards, and WHAT?! Place to plug in an ethernet cable!...yikes! Oh no! That's not going to work! I am required to be hardwired for my job. Got to have anything that ethernet connection. Non-negotiable. So, I bought the JCD543. It's got all the connections that I mentioned above. HOWEVER, the setup was not for the faint of heart. I had to call their customer service several times. They are available business hours EST. I was put on hold until I got an agent. However, it was worth the wait because they guided me through the steps to get it working. It required updating the operating system. And, I actually had to return a defective JCD543. I know, that's a total bummer. However, now that I have the thing all set up, I love it. I had to have all those connections to make the MacBook work for me oh, and this is the thing that made it possible. Using it is now easy and seamless, even with a VGA connection to an additional monitor!

This docking station is perfect! I have two monitors and it makes the connection to my laptop simple (I love the fact that I can add 1 more monitor if I chose to at a later time). It has everything you need plus more. The cable storage with dual opening came in very handy when my sister wanted to use my docking station (her connector was on the opposite side). The only drawback is that I still need to plug in my laptop.

Basically I'm replacing the one that died. That alone explains how well I like it.

Fulfilled all of my expectations and more. The quality of the product is top notch...makes my monitors and rest of equipment run perfectly.

The design could improve itself. It has only two HDMI ports and it could be necessary to have one extra. Sometimes the power supply gives me problems, my computer doesn't recognize this device, so I have to disconnect and connect it again.

This is a great buy if you need extra connectivity. This allows my laptop to have multiple devices connected and charging at the same time and place. I have a external hard drive, earbuds and overhead light to maximize my laptop use. All this on one outlet! Worth the price.

Great product allows me to use multiples screens to increase productivity.. I could’ve connect three monitors at first now only allows 2 of the 3 but could be a user error. Also amble extra input usb ports
