Some troubleshooting or setup info would have been welcome. Only one of the HDMI ports worked, making it useless for my purposes. On spec it looked like it would serve all of my purposes. One of the HDMI ports on the JCD 543 requires that the USB-C port from the docking station be plugged into a USB-C port that supports Display Port Alternate Mode. I was able to look up the specifications of your computer and your USB-C does not support Display Port Alternate Mode. If you are primarily looking to add additional monitors through a HDMI connection I would suggest the adapter in the link below. It can add up to 4 HDMI connected monitors through a USB-C connection that does not require Display Port Alternate Mode.

Suddenly a few weeks ago the HP Monitor flicks on and off and is unusable. It is detected and on the display settings as usual but the monitor now flicks off and on. It is the middle HDMI port only. Tried different cords,ports, monitors. Whatever monitor is plugged into the middle HDMI port with whatever cord , that monitor flickers off and on. Bought another J5 and same issue. Brought all parts and cords to Best Buy and after several day, they admitted that they could not fix it. They tried different laptops as well. Would not not refund the original one from several months ago. Told to try another port product (but no recommendation as to what one ) . Hmmm All updates were done. No help. Uninstalled and reinstalled the display adapters on the device manager. No change. All drivers are up to date.

Drops connection frequently when using ZOOM. I thought it was ZOOM. Checked connections, uninstalled software (ZOOM) continued getting "unstable internet connection" when using ZOOM. Bought a different hub...PROBLEM SOLVED. No more "unstable..." errors. Very frustrating. Purchased in March...Best Buy says it's too late to return it. POOR build quality. Do not buy!!!

There are technical limitations that would prevent adding additional video ports to the JCD543. However as technology advances it would be possible for this to become possible. Glad to hear that the docking station is working well with no issues.
