Unstable Network Connection

I connected a brand new Lenovo laptop, have both a wired and wireless connection to the dock and my PC connection to my WAN gets dropped almost every time I am on a Zoom call. I thought the problem was with the laptop so replaced the Lenovo with a brand new Dell laptop and the problem persists. Once the WAN is dropped, when I disconnect my PC from the dock the WAN connection gets re-established. My conclusion is that the docking station causes a conflict with my network router, defeating the purpose for having it.

Posted .To clarify, the JCD543 is designed as a hybrid docking station: it supports Plug-and-Play functionality for many ports (like Ethernet, USB, and power pass-through), while one of the HDMI port, including the VGA requires a driver installation to enable the additional video output beyond standard USB-C video limits.
A computer must support USB-C with DisplayPort Alternate Mode for the first display (HDMI or DP) and USB Power Delivery if charging through the dock.
Compatibility issues may occur on systems with restricted driver installations (such as some work-managed laptops or Chromebooks).

Worked great for about 3 weeks... just long enough to get out of the new BB return policy. Now ports don't work great, can't present in HDR, Ethernet drops in and out. Pretty much just quick working. Reached out to j5create support nearly two weeks ago to see if I can get a replacement and have heard nothing. Right now, I'm mad at both BestBuy and j5create. Might be done with both.

It did not come with a power adaptor. I thought it wasn't working properly because of the power adaptor. I purchased the 100w power adaptor. As far as monitor connection and internet it didn't work. This is a really expensive multi-charger. Save your money get a extension cord instead.

This product was over heating from immediately. From experience, this isn’t good. I returned it and bought a OWC and love it.
