The warning message that you are seeing is from your Mac and it is in regards to the next OS update; Big Sur. OS Big Sur will bring significant changes to your operating system. Our developers are currently working on an updated driver that will be compatible with Big Sur. Once the driver is released and you upgrade to Big Sur you can visit the j5create website to update the driver on your computer. Works great on 2 monitors still, third not so much

Now one of the HDMI ports does not project full gamma. (I have swapped cords, monitors, updated drivers, no ao luck) Happened with cheaper docks, was hoping spending the extra money would prevent this from happening. Anyone has recommendations on a 3 monitor USB c hub with through power, I'm all ears

Posted .The HDMI under the word "OR" is a PnP and a USB-C port must support DP Alt Mode. The other HDMI requires an installation of a driver. The JCD543 does not require a power supply to function, it can be powered by your laptop. It will support pass through charging via a USB-C power supply. I’m sorry that you had to take the time to return the docking station.

Posted .Hello Jwallscott, Regarding Big Sur compatibility, due to the different hardware of the M1 Mac our research and development team is currently working on a different driver. At this time, we are placing all M1 Mac customers on an "On-Hold" list and as soon as the software is available, you will be notified. Does Not Work

After spending TWO extended sessions with Tech Support from the manufacturer and two more extended sessions with my Geek Squad Total Tech Support Rep’s, they couldn’t fix it and suggested, like several times before on other issues on other equipment, that I’d have to “take it to my local retail outlet” for them to diagnose and repair or replace. Bet this review never makes it to print!

Cheap Junk, No Current Mac Support

I would expect to pay half the price for something like this. Also, this is not driverless for Mac... you need to download and install drivers from the company's website and they do not currently support Big Sur or M1. I would recommend avoiding products from this company. I am returning this.

At this time, if you are using an M1 chip Mac, we are still working on compatible software; if you are using an Intel based Mac, we have drivers available. not for dual monitors

I ended up plugging this into the laptop, hdmi into the laptop to monitor 1, and hdmi 2 from monitor 2 into this dock

Not able to get multiple displays working

Needed a dock to make life easier switching between work and home laptops on my home desktop setup - camera, headset, mouse and keyboard - and most importantly - two or three monitors (depending on where I am). Sadly - could not get it to feed two desktop monitors. Drivers installed beforehand as well...

Posted .The HDMI or DP video ports are Plug n Play. However, computers must support DisplayPort Mode for video out over USB-C. Please refer to the manufacturer of your hardware for more information on your device. The HDMI and VGA requires a driver. Depending on the OS you have, different instructions apply. Piece of Crap

I had purchased in 16-17 months ago, the device malfunctioned and fried the motherboard on my laptop that I purchase at the same time. This product sucks. I have never had a motherboard die the 20+ years that I've been using a computers.

this one wasn't a great buy

I heard another person with same issued but he heard his friend has no issue so I dunno maybe I we got a bad batch. disappointing for 110 bucks.

All ports may not work.

Posted .Computers must support "DisplayPort Alt Mode" over USB-C for video out if it's the HDMI port under the "OR" since that is Plug n Play. The Internet port will be labeled as RealTek or 10/100/1000 in your Network settings. It also requires an installation of a driver for HDMI/VGA and Mic ports to function properly. HDMI port stopped working in less than 2 month

I purchased this 2/5/2021 and one of the HDMI port stopped working today. I have tested with different cables and monitors. There is no physical damage that I can tell. It has been sitting on the table since I got it. Just trying to see if I can get a replacement.
