Had to switch from hdmi to vga to get one display working. Now the second hdmi is not working. Not sure what the deal is. Wish I had solutions.

Save Your Money

Posted .The USB-C Triple Display Docking Station requires DisplayPort Alt Mode and USB Power Delivery 2.0 or 3.0. Please check if there are any available updates for your computer that are needed by contacting the Manufacture (of your computer) Support and have them assist you in properly updating your computer. Being behind on updates could cause the j5 device to not function as intended. ** Feel free to contact j5create Technical Support if you require further assistance. Doesn't Work

Great docking station at a great price

Not as described!

I couldn't even get 2 monitors to work with it. I still had to plug one of the monitors into the laptop with a USB to get hem both to work, so I returned it.

Your feedback on the docking station is appreciated. From your review it seems possible that the driver software for the docking stations was either not installed or only partially installed. The driver software is required to get three monitors to display out of the docking station. Our customer support team is trained to assist our customers with issues like these when they arise. A short call with customer support can save you a trip back to the store to make a return.

Not so good - worked fine for 2 months -

Wouldn't connect to monitors

If you connected a second monitor or wouldn't work. Contacted customer service and they couldn't help. Will be returning. Ordered another brand.

Posted .The USB-C Triple Display Docking Station does not come with power adapter. You would need to go with the JCD543P instead. You can use your own USB-C power-brick (100W is recommended), however, your computer or device must support USB Power Delivery 2.0 or 3.0 to allow pass-through charge. It’s freezes monitor, don’t buy

Do not buy

Consider me one of those who don't like it. One of the HDMI connectors didn't work and had to return it. Looks nice, but pretty cheaply made.

Posted .We're sorry to hear the HDMI did not function. Most of the ports are PnP and requires DP Alt. Mode for video support which means a computer would have to support Plug and Play. Don’t waste your money

Doesn’t work with Mac book pro

Going to return and find another product. Don’t waste your money on this if you have a newer MacBook Pro.

I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the docking station. From your explanation in the review my first thought is that there was an issue with the driver installation and the MacOS blocked the drivers. You may want to check your security preferences and see if any extensions are blocked.
To save you a trip back to the store I would recommend contacting our customer support team, and they can assist you with troubleshooting your docking station. They can be contacted by phone, email, or live chat. Contact information is on the product package and on our website under the Support drop down. Again I would like to apologize for the inconvenience with the dock, I understand that when a computer accessory is purchased there shouldn’t be any trouble getting it to work out of the box.

4K performancew was disappointing.

Not worth it

Avoid at least for macs

Started out ok but problems after 3 months

I bought brand new monitors for my setup and I have updated the drivers per their website. It will still not work and this is a poor product.

It is possible that with some troubleshooting techniques, the JCD543 could have potentially performed better than it did. However, with the JCD381 requiring a driver for full device usage, we can guarantee full optimal performance - this is because the JCD543 does have some plug and play requirements and if your PC does not meet those requirements, not all ports will work for you unfortunately.

Do not buy for M1 Macs.
