Ill use it so hook up two other monitors to my laptop as well as using the 3 USB ports and aux port. Only wish the USB-C was a little longer so i can tuck it away and have a cleaner looking desk.

A Best Buy employee urged me to buy this one, knowing the model of my laptop, and now they will not refund or let me exchange because it is outside of the window. DO NOT BUY THIS. There is nothing on the packaging that lets you know what machines this will work with.

Easy to setup, works great, easy to organize on desktop, doesn’t take up much space and does not affect the display quality of the expected output. I highly recommend this router and have other J5 products I depend on too. I will continue to look for J5 when I need connectors. Pricing is better than expected and within my home budget.

Windows seems to be fine for my multiple monitors but when my wife hooks up her Apple laptop she can only get one.

Simple to connect, has 2 HDMI ports for dual monitors. Really helped get rid of a nest of cables. The formate down load went fast and worked right away. Nearly plug and play.

It works well with a Windows Laptop, Macbook Air and even our Windows 10 touchpad. We have purchased 3 of them and stopped using a different brand since these work so well and are half the price as the previous brand we used.

Troublesome

It works when it wants to. One of the HDMI ports on the back does not work and the one that does work causes my 2nd monitor to freeze and i have to reboot the docking station to get it functioning again. Is a sleek design and nice looking, specially for the lift desk I have it sitting on. but not so reliable.

Gets the job done for Mac and PC

Needed something I could use with my MacBook Pro and work Dell PC at the same desk. Both seem to work well, however, Mac users will need to install a small program. A little pricey but does support three displays and has plenty of ports to boot.

Good Dock, Some Drawbacks

It does require its own power source to operate everything but it doesn't list the power rating. I've been using a 65w charger from a laptop. Apparently the dock powers down when the laptop dims the screen. When this happens the my dual screen monitors no longer keep the app windows and push it to the laptop window. I didn't have this issue with my previous setup with a single monitor using a single USB-C to HDMI adapter. I still have some time to review and may return if there isn't a workaround for this. Other than that it is the only issue I have been facing.
