Excellent function. Well worth the price, especially for remote work.

The "j5create - USB Type-C Triple Display Docking Station" fit my needs perfectly. I had moved into an apartment to separate from the grandkids during the pandemic, and got a laptop/monitor/speakers/headphones etc. to use. As I moved back and forth with the laptop, was getting tedious to keep replugging everything in manually. Now, with this docking station, can just insert the one lightning cable into my laptop and voila, everything is connected. I did not buy the external power source (separate), and the station runs just fine off my laptop's power.

When I first got it I could not use the 2 middle ports (HDMI or Display). Messaged manufacturer and they said they don't work for everyone, it depends on your computer. Well ok...so I used the HDMI and Vga to hook up my 2 monitors. I thought at this price point this would be great, but nope, it would constanly freeze up the monitors and I would have to unplug it from my laptop and replug it in. I had enough of that so I returned it today. Now to find something else that will work for me. My bad purchasing an expensive laptop that only has 2 usb-c's....

It works majority of the time and its awesome! I use two monitors with it and switch back and forth between my personal laptop and work laptop. A good purchase.

Gives ame more use of my computer and other as series’s as well a place to plug in mySD32 cards for photos.the best thing is I can hook up more display screens.

First, I need to say that I do not use this docking station for my Internet connection. My laptop is connected to my Wi-Fi but I do have two monitors and a phone charger connected to it and I have zero issues. It starts up very quickly shut down and connectivity is effortless

Overall it works well, and much better than my first docking station. It did have some trouble with one laptop with the wired Ethernet. If that laptop wasn't connected to the docking station and using wifi, it would have trouble connecting with the wired Ethernet when it was on the docking station, or would suddenly drop the Ethernet connection and I would have to restart the laptop to get it to even connect with the wifi again. Otherwise it's been working well, especially since im not using Ethernet anymore since we moved.

Works great. Plenty of ports and no power needed.

This is a great docking station. Would be awesome with another HDMI connection but it had enough for my dual monitors just fine. Makes launching my laptop with all my monitors and plugins very easy.

setting up my laptop in the garage and this was the perfect ting top piece together old monitors, keyboard, etc. Easy to use.

This device really helps me to get my work done. The USB ports and the HDMI ports are really useful to do what I need to do. It fits very well beneath my laptop and doesn't take up too much space.

this docking station is great for our remote team. We ordered one to test and now I'm ready to purchase more. it is so easy and reliable. We have our remote team equipped with laptops. At home and at the office they have two monitors/keyboard mouse combos. The laptop rests perfectly on top of the docking station, saving desk space. It has several ports and perfect for the two monitors. It is a great docking station. I recommended. (as an IT pro)

I originally bought this docking station and downloaded the drivers off the j5create website but it wasn't working. I thought it was defective since only one of the display ports were working so i exchanged it but I was still having the same issue. I had to reach out to j5's customer service for help, they directed me to another driver that I would need in order to make the docking station work. Once I got past this hiccup, the docking station works beautifully I am really happy with my purchase. Anyone who is working from a home office and needs to power 2 monitors or even 3 I would recommend this. (Side note; I am using a MacBook Pro 2019 running Catalina with this docking station)

The design for this was great. I loved the amount of port options you have, the idea of how the USB-C connector is made unnoticeable but the it's unfortunate this doesn't support all monitors or laptops, something to do with the drivers I think. I had issues using this with a display port, no matter what I did or what device I used - my monitor will always flicker, making it unusable. With HDMI though, it worked perfectly. I like the height to it as well, making it serve as a mini laptop stand and help ventilate your laptop. Overall, it's a good buy although I returned mine as it didn't serve the purpose I got it for.

I purchased this along with my new HP laptop. I was looking for a docking station with USB-C/Thunderbolt charging capability. This wasn't it. I returned it to Best Buy. They have another version of this item that includes the charging capability. That's what I should have purchased at the time. Upon further review, I found that the powered version of this item doesn't provide enough juice to charge my new laptop in a timely manner. That said, this item does exactly what it purports to do. You'll have a hard time finding another USB-C adapter with this capability at this price.

So far runs great and allows my laptop with 1 hdmi port to have 3 so now i can use 4 screens at a time

This was easy to set up with my Mac and gives me all the ports I need without a lot of plugging and unplugging. Makes travel easier and keeps everything tidy!

When trying to run two computers and an additional monitor this was a good fit. There are enough ports to add the external drive and mouse. My difficulty is with service. The USB ports will disconnect at no specific time. Then they will start working. I tried contacting service to speak with someone and got transferred twice, explaining both times the necessary information. Then I was connected with the remote access and disconnected. This had taken an hour and a half. When calling back it would be an additional hour+. This docking station is only a month old and I am pleased with what I can do with it.
