Computer Docking station

There are enough ports to add the external drive and mouse. My difficulty is with service. The USB ports will disconnect at no specific time. Then they will start working. I tried contacting service to speak with someone and got transferred twice, explaining both times the necessary information. Then I was connected with the remote access and disconnected. This had taken an hour and a half. When calling back it would be an additional hour+. This docking station is only a month old and I am pleased with what I can do with it.

But if are activity using 2 items that are plugged into this with not enough power, it can make your computer loose charge and die even if it is plugged in

It's lightweight, easy to connect and it has a variety of ports to connect all your devices. I bought one for my desktop so I don't have to try to get to the back of it to connect things, and one for my laptop to take with me where I go to connect a monitor and other things for extra convenience.

The good: I like the look and the size of it. It fits well under the laptop and has all of the ports I need. Pricing is good, but you get what you pay for. The bad: I took it out of the box, updated all of the drivers on my laptop and then plugged it in. Mostly plug and play, but my laptop doesn't support the second HDMI port so I had to use the VGA port. I think that is where the problems come from. This thing freezes up every 5-10 minutes. I work on proposals and do a lot of copying and pasting, comparing versions, working in excel and word at the same time, etc. It seems like I have to much going on for the dock to handle. When I copy it freezes. I unplug it, plug it back in, paste, and click save and it freezes again. I will take it back this weekend and look for something else. I just have to finish the week with this issue as I need all screens to operate. Very dissapointed.

Good dock for Windows and Mac OS

Out of the box set up was easy I did not have to download any drivers for windows but did have to download drivers for 0SX. Are use the dark for two down monitors in the office and three Samsung TVs at home. Very happy with the product and amount of money spent. A little bit here goes a long way now.

However, It is a great docking station to help with presentations and allows you to add flash drives to it. I wish there was a way to lock the MacBook into it.

Posted .When it comes to making a better connection and securing it to where it will not come loose, the JCD543 does allow the laptop to rest on top of it that way the loss of connection does not occur too often. I would recommend contacting the support team on the packaging for further guidance on other troubleshooting that may be done.

Thought this would be what I needed but alas….

It had all the plugs that I needed for my monitors and computer but it cannot handle any of it. I plugged everything in and set it up per the inbox instructions and it didn’t recognize the power cable and just completely drained my laptop trying to do its job.

Not a good fit if you have a YOGA

I was told by j5create that this docking station was compatible and that it should be able to also charge my laptop. However, it does not charge it and causes my laptop to overheat. Maybe with another computer I would love it, but due to the inaccurate information I received it has not been a good experience for me. I do like how easy it is to plug in and use.

It has enough legacy usb, an hdmi and vga port, and a convenient wire storage compartment with hooks to keep the main cord from popping out located on either side that you need to plug into your device. No issues with drivers, plug n play worked, but you should download the driver from their site if you have any problems, especially for video issues. is a little longer than I liked, I think it could have been made into a smaller boxier shape for portability but otherwise gets the job done and good price.
