Posted .Hello KRasmussen, the JCD543 definitely provides the user with the ability to connect mice, flash drives, keyboards to the external hub and not take up an additional USB port on the computer itself. The JCD543 is actually one of our most prestigious devices.

Shape gives a nice spot to rest laptop and has extra video port. Coworker has previous generation too-that one is 4 years old and working fine.

My Samsung laptop ran out of port options

However, the laptop didn't have enough ports for the monitors, external drives, printer, Ethernet, etc. I found this docking station which has sufficient ports. My laptop continues to meet my family's needs.

It supports my 4 monitors, speakers, power, mic, and all the other stuff I've got plugged into it with ease. It isn't big and bulky. You get a whole lot of bang for your buck on this one.

We are happy to hear that you are pleased with the JCD543. The JCD543 Triple Display Docking Station does not require to have a power adapter plugged into it to work. The JCD543 if powered by the computer that it is plugged into. The optional power adapter is for pass through charging for your laptop.

Love the ports / Kills the wifi

Shortly after plugging into the base I started to notice that my WiFi signal was low, then too week to host a call all over an otherwise flawless connection. I would unplug and the signals fine. I’ve isolated to a small amount if interference, of some kind, emitting by the base itself that interferes with the WiFi. When using, I would suggest plugging in but kit sitting you MacBook directly on top of it and try leaving a little distance between the base and your laptop.

Not Compatible With HP Omen 15

I recently needed a docking station for it and happened to be at my local store looking at all of the different options. This one seemed to be the best one and nothing on the box stated that it would not be compatible with my device. It wasn't until I had gone through about an hour of setup, troubleshooting, and research that I found out that this item would not be compatible with my laptop. J5Create needs to be a lot more clear in their product descriptions, Quick Start guides, and website to show what devices will and won't be compatible with this item. So disappointed. I will have to return this item and I will not be trusting this brand until they clear up this issue. Shame on you J5.

Posted .The USB-C Triple Display Docking Station requires that your HP Omen 15 supports an available USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode and USB Power Delivery 2.0 or 3.0.Please refer to the manufacturer of your hardware for more information on your device
The Docking Station will also require an installation of a driver for the HDMI, VGA and Mic for proper functionality..

Dual monitors with M1 Macbook works!

There is noticeable lag on both monitors and sometimes after waking from sleep, one monitor will not work, requiring me to reconnect and power cycle the monitor. This dock is significantly cheaper than alternatives and is worth it.

Just what I was looking for when I wanted to "enlarge" my lap top screen but wasn't sure what I needed to make that all happen. It is just plain slick!

Okay dock, only 30 Hz output to external displays.

Sometimes it does act up and 1 of the displays does not get recognized, and leads me to restart to get it working again. Also, big downside in my opinion is the external display output is limited to only 30 Hz so a lot of tearing.
