It does an exceptional job on one of my three MacBook Pros. I tried on one to no avail, then a second where it performed as expected, and finally on a third where it failed.I run MacBooks in three different rooms. I wanted to try this out before buying two additional docking stations. I did not buy more of these.

I purchased this docking station because I purchased a new laptop and needed a docking station with a lot of ports. I had to return this because it did not have enough HDMI ports and other important ports needed for cameras and other laptop. Did not get to use this because it was returned.

Great. But had to request a replacement for the first one due to one of the HDMI ports stopped functioning after few days of purchased.

So many ports a works well for working from home, doesn't hog desk space.

I bought this for a new MacBook M1 Pro. I w aged to use 2 monitors. It would go work and then stop supporting both monitors. I determined the driver for the product was not updated for the M1Pro chip so I returned it. It’s probably a decent device, just needs to be updated for the newest systems to work properly.

Excellent charging station when you need additional ports. I was using a Mini Dock on my laptop based system then decided to add a couple of extra devices. The additional ports gave me the flexibility I needed,

This gadget has every possible connection you might ever need. It's not cheap but totally worth it if you have multiple accessories plugged into your laptop and then take the computer home or to the office every day. Time and effort saver not having to unplug and re-plug all those accessories over and over.

Best Buy- Why are you still carrying and promoting J5 products when they don't work???? I've spent $200 the last month on multiple J5 docks for my 2019 Macbook Pro at the suggestion of your in-store sales people. NONE of them work properly with Big Sur. Call J5 support and they tell you they'll put you on a mailing list for when their developers get around to it. Called them this morning and their response is "roll back to Catalina and it will work". If you're going to continue selling product that doesn't work as promised at least put a disclaimer on it stating "does not work with current operating platforms". Stop wasting your customer's time and money selling product that doesn't work as advertised. Third trip to the store and multiple support phone calls with Total Tech support and I just ended up buying two Type C to HDMI connectors so I have something reliable. I'm not asking for out-of-the-box solutions. I just want to connect 2 monitors to a Mac....

We bought this docking station based on a Best Buy associate’s recommendation. We’re really happy with it. The only hesitation we have is that we don’t know if it’s the docking station or if something is defective in our new laptop because the USB port the docking station was connected into became defective and is not recognizing at of the connections after almost a month’s worth of use. We’ve exchanged the docking station for a new one exactly the same. Time will tell.

Enables multiple external displays with MacBooks. Newest Firmware Release Jun 2020 greatly improved functionality.

Works great and seamlessly. Easy to set up on a Windows Latitude running Windows 10 Pro. The wedge design is nice to set laptop on to elevate and does not have to be used that way if it is not the desired set up.

I can't understand how I ever worked without this. The ease of just plugging in one cord when locating the laptop is so awesome, rather than plugging in monitor, audio, network, wireless mouse, etc. It has a very low profile and raises up the laptop perfectly, giving it a bit more space to bring cooling air in and easier to type on.

Love the number of ports and purchased specifically for DVI option. That said, it feels like it has the durability of a child's toy. For the price I was happy with it. However, after owning it for just about 45 days, my MacBook automatically updated to macOS BigSur Version 11.0.1. This made this Docking Station obsolete in the span on one hour. j5Create states on the website and in customer service that no drivers are avail to correct this and no timeline is given to correct it at the moment. I would check whether this is avail before buying.

Fit my needs exactly. Allowed me to put 2 monitors, keyboard, and a mouse into it. I only have to plug the docking station into my laptop.

Fantastic idea! I love this docking station. It fits my HP Envy perfectly and is compact enough to not demand more space like side docking stations. I recommend this product for students and multi-external devices.

I purchased this as a solution for a laptop I wanted to run dual monitors on. Only one of the monitor ports worked. It could have been user error but I attempted to figure it out for a week. I eventually just hooked one up to the device and the other to the laptop. Sub ports work :) Anyway I guess it can work for something other than multiple monitors

Bought this for my office so I could take my laptop back and forth without a lot of hassle. Bingo, hit the nail on the head. Allows me to keep all my peripherals connected, plug into my laptop's USB C, and I am operational. Love the Ethernet connection, multiple monitors, extra ports, and of course the sleek design. I absolutely love this thin.

This is a great product as advertised, works like a dream. I would def. recommend this.

Great buy easy to use and so affordable to carry love it

I use this with my HP SPECTRE laptop and an external charger. By just plugging in one cable into a USB-C port, I can charge my laptop and greatly expand the number of ports to support external hard drives or other accessories. It greatly improves the portability of my laptop since one plug handles everything.
