This is GREAT... recommended to me by the supervisor of computer section of my local BEST BUY. Very happy with it... easy to unplug for laptop movement and easy to store, should I want to carry with me. Highly recommend.

Affordable docking station.

AND for a fraction of the price. You still need to have a power cord for your laptop but it gives the capability of a docking station by allowing your laptop/pc to connect to various monitors/devices seamlessly.

I have to M series Vizio TV that I use as additional monitors, and it has no problem connecting to both in full 2160, use of all the USB's etc. No performance issues

Only downfall is that you cannot use all the video ports. Unless I am doing something wrong. It will not let me have 2 HDMI and 1 display port. I would plug in 1 HDMI and it would work perfectly. But as when I try to use the other HDMI port, it does not work. Other than that it works great.

Posted .When it comes to the JCD543's HDMI ports, one is PnP and the other is software based. Depending on the OS you have and the computer's capabilities, you may or may not be able to use them both. Unfortunately it was not compatible with my 2011 MBP. One caveat that I would add - In order to run a dual monitor setup, I needed to run an HDMI from one of the monitors directly into the laptop. The docking station only recognized one monitor on it's own.

I use it to bring my laptop computer from work home so i can connect it to the two monitors i use to do work from home. It has extra ports for usb plug ins too so i xan also plug in my wireless mouse to it and free up the usb plugin on my laptop

However, I will caution that you need a separate USB type-c power source is you want this docking station to power your device while displaying to multiple monitors. Otherwise, it seemed to be fine.
