Works great except did not come with power connection. Problem is it requires a 100w USB c charger which is not just any old USB c charger. J5create sells a adapter charger for this and it should have been included.

Works with Dell Inspiron laptops if you purchase the power adapter with this. Otherwise you receive an error message and it will not charge the laptop sufficiently.

Worked well for an HP I had. Unfortunately it was not compatible with my 2011 MBP. One caveat that I would add - In order to run a dual monitor setup, I needed to run an HDMI from one of the monitors directly into the laptop. The docking station only recognized one monitor on it's own.

I purchased a docking station on Amazon that stopped working after a few days. I decided to go into my local best buy and ask someone there. They recommended this device (I have a surface laptop). So far it is working perfectly.

This little guy is great for using with my Surface Pro. I needed it because I do a lot of presentations in small conference rooms where I have to bring all my own equipment. It has all I need for any kind of display situation I would run into and enough USB ports to attach any other equipment I would need for conducting a class.

We were shown this item in our local store and it has been a game changer for us. It assists us in eliminating lots of cords around our main hub. With so many ports, we have connected many peripherals without issue. We are happy that we purchased this docking station. It has been an asset to our AV production.

A great buy. I was able to connect all my external devices and accessories into the docking station, and with a single disconnect cable, walk away with my laptop and go to another room, or leave the house with ease and simplicity

This item serves it's intended purpose. However, I will caution that you need a separate USB type-c power source is you want this docking station to power your device while displaying to multiple monitors. Otherwise, it seemed to be fine.

Very time consuming to setup and it doesn’t automatically work after a restart (need to work from the laptop instead of screens automatically being picked up). Recently, Big Sur 11 was released. I did the update, only for my monitors to stop working as they did previously. After messing around with settings, I went to j5create’s site and saw a huge on-screen alert about Mac users needing to not update their OS yet because drivers were not yet available so displays would be impacted. I’m guessing the expectation is that I’d go to the site for all ancillary office products to ensure each will remain compatible with my system? That’s messy and begs the question: why does j5create have me register a product or provide any personal information if they’re not going to email an update like this?

Great Product and works with PC and Mac. Love the portability

I got this for my Apple MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020) to connect 2 27-inch curved monitors for business purposes. The drivers were very easy to install & everything runs smoothly. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a docking station.

Very easy to install and launch to allow me to use dual monitors in my home office.

This is okay for what it is but I had some major issues with it, mainly that the speeds of the ports were not consistent and the design of the chassis itself was not. When plugging things into the port, they seemed to not fit correctly and you had to apply some force which is scary considering you may damage your own device's cables. Also the display outputs did not work with a converter, whereas they definitely could on some other cheaper hubs. On top of that, it is not a device that's supported with an M1 Macbook. I think that was why the speeds were so bad but also yeah, not the greatest quality and definitely too expensive for what you're getting. Ankers hubs will get your further along with I/O expansion and they are definitely more compact.

Does what it supposed to do. Works well. A little expensive but don’t regret the purchase. Very handy for those days I work from home and can use dual monitors from my laptop.

Connections are great. Connects to my MacBook no problem. Works great! Connects to my elgato and obs system. Displays correctly. Would recommend to a friend.

I previously bought one online and it was a terrible USBC plug. I was able to find this really nice one at Best Buy. It has so many ports that can be used. I have yet to have a problem with it having a shortage unlike others. I do wish the cord was a tad bit longer.

This was the only other option In this Best Buy store that had an an extra usb-c port. But it’s so specific to a certain kind it didn’t work for what I needed but everything else worked fine. The size is more for bigger laptops. I had a 13 inch. It felt like decent quality. I’ve learned twenty dollars more can get me multiple usb-c thunderbolt 3 and/or 4ports at OWC.

Bought this mainly to have the additional video outputs for my laptop. Works great and there are plenty of HDMI and USB ports to attach monitors, printers, bluetooth adapters and other outputs. Be sure to download the drivers from the J5create website before using, and you should be up and running in no time.
