We use HP Laptops at work and since the HP USB-C Dock G5 has been in backorder, the J5Create has been an excellent replacement. It's way cheaper than HP and will work with 3 monitors.

Great dock for your MacBook Air with USB-C

Bought this instead, and it fits the bill! This stays on my desk with my external monitor hooked up, and works great as a dock!

This thing handles everything I thru at it without the power plugged in (usb c powered adapter) but would recommend getting one. Does everything I need it to do. Awesome product!!

One of my HDMI ports did not work so I had to switch to a VGA port. I also had to buy the power supply separate so do take that into consideration while buying.

Best USB C dock I've ever used

Has all the ports and functionality I want and has never had any issues in the few months I've owned it. Gives my laptop about a half inch to inch clearance for better fan airflow as well. Only complaint would be that I wish the cable was a few inches longer.

Main display moves; frustrating

However, it does create display issues for me (and others), where the main display moves left or right, almost every day. The workaround has been to go to Windows display settings, advanced, choose the monitor, and change the Hz. I sometimes need to do this several times per day.

I have this running dual 24" monitors as well as an external keyboard\mouse, speakers, ethernet and power. I really like that I can support 3 monitors at once.

Also you will lost some FPS when playing high video demand games.

Just didn't work for me

Both laptop has a USB - C connection and easy to swap. The laptop wasn't charging so i bought the separate USB c power adapter and now able to charge also.

OK but could be better

Sometimes, it will lose connection to one of my monitors in the middle of my workday and I have to unplug EVERYTHING and reconnect in order for it to connect again. The cord to plug in to the monitor is VERY VERY short.
