In order to run dual monitors, the dock needs power (not from the computer). Running the charger through the dock instead of the computer made the doc run hot. The monitors are not always detected, and I typically have to restart my computer completely for the displays to both show up. I emailed J5Create, and their customer service said, "If it runs how, just unplug it." They also stated the display issue is Apple's glitch which is interesting since I haven't had any issues with any other dual monitor adapters. Worst of all, this dock cannot handle you utilizing every connector built into it. Sometimes, it takes about 15 to 20 minutes for an external SSD or memory card to appear. It's great when it works... if it works.

Perfect addition to a cramped desk easy Tom place anywhere. Perfect size to go under monitor stands etc. plenty of output ports. The price is not that bad for what you get. If you find it on sale definitely buy it. If you need it definitely buy it.

So far its been working great. I got this to try and replace the Dell Hub that we've had for a while thats been acting up and so far this little guy has been doing pretty good, and for the price, can't beat it.

I bought this once I started working from home to mirror my work setup in my office. I have two monitors on either side of my laptop and I use it with both my work and personal PC. It works really well but the power dock does not seem to charge properly when I plug in a cable to charge my phone or other device. Additionally, one of my monitors will just totally freeze. I can see from using alt+tab that whatever is supposed to be on that screen isn't updating. The only way to remedy this is to detach the dock from my laptop and reattach it. It will do this with both of my systems and happens at random. If this issue went away this would be a nearly perfect device. Make sure you get the official 100w power supply for it if yours didn't come with it.

I'm glad to see that docking stations are finally universal. I bought this because I have an HP laptop for work, and one of the dock options on HP's site was a USB-C dock. It's working well with my two 1080p monitors so far. Keeps my deal tidy and functional.

This device is quite useful if you want to use a laptop and multiple monitors. Of course, as an after-market item, it's not as easy to use as a dedicated docking station. However, it's far better than a USB port replicator and it adds multiple HDMI ports. My only reservation is that I think it should have more USB ports.

Exactly what I needed to complete my new computer setup.

Like many people I found myself working at home full time suddenly and without warning. I needed a way to hook up two TVs as monitors for my work laptop. This was very simple to set up and worked without having to install drivers on my laptop. Would purchase again if needed.

Along with adding Ethernet and being powered by the laptop thru a C USB it is also a perfect Laptop stand to put the laptop on. Good grip and zero setup. I could not find a better match for my HP Envy which had no Ethernet Jack and now I can add a 2 USB DVD Player as well.

Im liking it so far have have no issues. However, I was suprised that there was no usbc charging cable in the box. You cant use and AC PC charger, so uou have to buy one seperate or rely on your laptop as a power source

Works great. I wish one of the USB-C ports was a Thunderbolt port. Other than that, I have no complaints.

This docking station works great! I like all the additional ports on it for other devices to plug into it. The tech at the store was not very helpful and actually gave me the wrong information on the product, however I was able to make it work.

Very convenient to have extra ports for accessories to run the laptop.

Needed the extra USB ports and the SD slots as well. I can add different storage devices, as well as a mouse and an extra monitor if needed. Could use a couple extra USB ports for digital art

I use mine as a dock to link my steam deck to my tv. It works seamlessly and have had no issues with connectivity or power transfer.

Great dock, using it with two HDMI monitors and various peripherals. I switch between laptops with the USB-C port on the right and left sides, so the easy way to swap the cable to either side is nice.

Very easy to use and acts as a little prop stand for the laptop. I was able to hook up 3 monitors with an adapter.

Great dock for working at home. Provides a more comfortable typing angle for my macbook and has enough ports for my displays, ethernet, and other peripherals.
