This little beast is a game changer. My mouse/keyboard was not responding well with my 4 port hub. Now I have my mouse, keyboard, printer, speakers, & monitor all set up through this jewel. It’s perfect & worth every penny.

If you are running two monitors and multiple add ons on your computer, I would highly recommend this docking unit. You will need to buy an additional power connector if you plan on charging your lap top or surface.

the docking station itself has many ports. I am missing onve but that's an old Macbook air and it is outdated. I really like using it.

So easy to use and to carry around. Works great with my laptop and multiple monitors.

Great concept but didn't support my accessories . Two of the ports did not recognize anything was plugged in. Tried eight different items 2.0, 3.0, etc. Exhausted every idea I had. Still could be user error but it just didn't work for me.

You have to download a program to use with a MacBook which can be a bit confusing. Not just a plug and play device, I with there was an easier solution to having to expand to 2-3 additional screens

I took a chance despite having mixed results with unpowered hubs before and I think I've found that external power is pretty much a requirement for a quality hub. This one, in particular, was extremely frustrating. I've mostly used StarTech and Dell docks in the past and I'm sad to say that J5Create doesn't even come close - power or no power. I tried this on a true triple-monitor setup to start with: An LG 32" IPS monitor, an older BenQ 27", and the screen on my Lenovo. The laptop is my work Dell Latitude 10th gen i7 machine - plenty of performance. I first tried the LG monitor through DisplayPort with the BenQ via DVI adapted to HDMI. The j5create simply wouldn't run the LG at first. So, I swapping them to both direct HDMI and was able to get a signal, but Windows identified the LG as a "non plug-and-play monitor" with a max resolution of 640x480. On top of that, the functionality in the BenQ was extremely sluggish. Ok, so I decided to try swapping my wife's StarTech dock for the j5create to see if I could get decent results there (since I knew the StarTech would work for me). Her system was little better. We only needed 2, older Dell screens powered there. Running adapted DVI to DisplayPort on one and adapted DVI to HDMI on the other produced bad results again as the DisplayPort screen would not come on. Tried just about everything. Drivers from j5create (of course), drivers from DisplayLink, drivers from monitor manufacturers, Windows updates, Dell SupportAssist... that's it, I'm done. It shouldn't take this much to get this working. Best Buy will get a return of this as soon as possible and a suggestion that they stop selling this. I've heard that their support is good, but I shouldn't have to lean on a lengthy email chain to just get this working - especially when I can get working docks from other companies. Other issues: Short USB-C cable that's built in to the unit, 3 USB-A seems a little under strength for a $100+ unit, all ports rear and nothing on the sides. TL;DR Don't use this unless you're using unadapted monitors, have a "traditional" setup where the laptop will be right on top of the dock, and are prepared for things to not work out of the box.

Works well. wish Best Buy had the same thing with the power supply. If you plug your phone or anything else to charge it takes forever. Now Have to make another trip or order the power supply.

I have a Dell Inspiron Desktop and a Dell Inspiron Laptop. The dock works alright for my laptop, I am able to fully utilize both HDMIs and a small USB-c monitor, for a total of 4 screens (including the laptop screen). My desktop however is only accepting one of the HDMI ports. The one closest to the VGA. I can swap cables and monitors, but only that one HDMI port will work. The USB-c monitor still works fine. I got it to easily swap between my work laptop and school pc, but it has been more of a hassle than changing over the 6 plugs individually.

This item works as advertised, I just had to learn how to “allow” the extension to operate in the background and it worked just fine.

Used to drive extra monitor plus sound plus route external power to my Lenovo laptop. Works great with Windows 10. Does not seem to work with Mint Linux (a derivative of Ubuntu).

awesome product could used some work on the pricing but it works as advertised would recomend for a quick way of expanding youre displays and a small hub for all your usb ports

Gets daily use at the office because I bring my 13" MacBook Pro home every day. Single external monitor, keyboard and mouse setup. Very discreet. Got it during Black Friday deals so that's why I ended up getting this one instead of another at the same retail price.

Very helpful to have multiple screens and easy to connect to.

This makes things so much easier. Helps you organize your desk. The USB 3.0 makes charging your phone a breeze.

There's 2 HDMI and one VGA, but you can't use the 3 of them at the same time... for one of the HDMI is either the HDMI or the VGA, if you connect a VGA one of the HDMI's wont work.

It’s a nice docking station and haven’t had much issue with it. I do wish it came with a power cord. I can’t easily change out my work laptop with my personal laptop since they both utilize different power cords. Not the end of the world but would have been super convenient to have its own charging cord.

This product was a godsend. Working from home and needing to have multiple monitors up and running.. this docking station does it all!! I have 3 up and running all day along with my laptop with no problems.

Very simple set up… perfect plug and play equipment piece for home office set up

I absolutely love this product. I admit that I purchased this product with the intention of it performing differently. However, It has completely met my needs.
