The drivers were automatically downloaded. Recognized my external monitors instantly. The extra USB ports come in handy for headphones and phone chargers. Pleased with the purchase so far

Great docking station for cost

This thing makes any laptop a multi port device with ease.

It has no drivers or other software that make it compatible with more than 1 display.

Posted .Hi Shaun, unfortunately, M1 drivers are not available. We do offer PnP device but if needing to display multiple monitors, it will not work, that is due to hardware limitations. Respectfully, j5

Connects computer to two monitors, just like we wanted. Be aware that it doesn't come with a power supply. Not hard to get, just be aware.

Defective HDMI port

One of the HDMI ports do not work. I cannot return it right now because this is a vital piece of equipment that we need to be successful at our public service careers. Also when purchasing this docking station, I did not know that I needed a charger. I found out that I needed one by looking up YouTube videos. Overall, its a great product even though with it's defective HDMI port. I have bought two Samsung computer monitors in order to work efficiently with my work laptop.

Posted .One of the HDMI ports on the Dock requires that your computer supports DisplayPort Alt Mode for video out over USB-C, because it is a PnP (Plug n Play) port. The stand alone HDMI port requires an installation of a driver for proper functionality. Please make sure you have full admin rights to complete the installation process. A power brick will be used if you would like your computer to charge when it's connected to the USB-C power-in port on the Dock. However, your computer must also support Power Delivery for pass-through charge over USB-C. Without those features embedded into a computer, the Docking Station will not be completely compatible with your device. Please refer to the manufacturer of your hardware for more information on your device. ** Feel free to contact j5create Technical Support if you require further assistance. Not Mac Friendly

It does have multiple ports that come in clutch but there are other products that can do the same for way cheaper. There is a slight Mac compatibility issue.

Using docking station on my tablet i used my cellphone charger and the batery on tablet slowly drained. Tryied using a higher powerd charger and it reversed the problem . Now it charges the tablet while using docking station. Wished i new this was a good compatible product sooner. I cant live without it now.
