Occasionally not recognizing 2nd hdmi

My only issue is that every so often I receive a message on my 2nd monitor that says “no hdmi signal from your device”. Initially, I thought that it was the monitor but now I think it’s the docking station. I brought all 3 at once. I have checked and rechecked all the cords which are plugged in and not strained. I love my new setup. It’s such a shame since it took me months to pull the trigger of the purchases. It’s also out of the 15 day warranty period.

Also noticed you can’t have multiple external hard drives plugged into this.

Posted .The dock can connect to a USB-C port that doesn’t support Power Delivery but it will not pass power through the connected device
We advise no more than 1 bus-powered/portable external hard disk drive to be connected to the USB ports.

Posted .The USB-C power-in port on the JCD543 provides pass-through charge as well as additional power to the USB ports with a 65W or higher power-brick or the JUP2290 that works best with the JCD543. Please make sure that the computer supports "Power Delivery" for the USB-C power-in to work. Thank you.
Docking Station with Drive

When I explain that I would not be using the laptop as a monitor Geek squad said this would be best docking station. It only works on 1 monitor with laptop open. If I try and extend to 2 monitors it does not work. I did reach out to brand and there is nothing they can do.

Posted .The JCD543 requires a driver for additional monitors. Download and install the latest MCT drivers from j5create's website.
The Docking Station will also require that your computer supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) to transmit audio and video signals. Please refer to the manufacturer of your hardware for more information on your device. Thank you.

For all the features that the JCD543 has, the drivers are a necessary evil. There are some features that do not require the drivers, but to get the full capabilities of the dock the drivers need to be installed. Thank you for your feedback.

When you want to travel, you just unplug the one cord and go. However on our unit, the usb keyboard (Apple brand) would stop working while the unit was asleep. We could not wake the computer up via the keyboard occasionally. And after the computer was awake, the keyboard still didn’t work. We would have to unplug the keyboard for a few seconds and then it was fine again. We returned the unit. The build quality was. I’ve, but it didn’t work out for us.
