Occasional issues with External display freezing

Not sure if this is all due to the docking station or not, but I've not had the same issue with others in the past.

Not a true triple display setup

This is not true triple monitor setup. The dock is capable of driving two monitors via the USB3.1 ports, however the third monitor is driving by a USB monitor adapter that is built in. OSX Catalina is very strict about certain types of driver installation and if you don't allow EVERY.SINGLE.CHANGE requested by the driver, the third monitor will never work and you will have to do quite a bit of futzing around to get it to work again. There are better options that's cheaper and works better than this.

The JCD543 will allow you to add up to three additional monitors to your laptop. One through a VGA port and another one through a HDMI port; both of these run off drivers that need to be installed on your computer. The third display can connect through HDMI or Display Port and this is only possible if the USB-C port that you plug the dock into on your computer supports display port alternate mode. Posted .Adding peripherals to your computer has never been easier than with the Triple Display Docking Station, due to it's various ports of functionality, it makes the device very handy and useful. As for the power supply, that is for pass through charging only and not necessary; for questions or concerns, feel free to contact the support team on the packaging and a representative will be glad to assist.

I really want to love this...

It does all the things it says it will do ...... plus one more. It runs all the things I need to, but now and then (about once per day) the external monitor locks up and I have to unplug the docking station from the laptop for 10 seconds and plug it back in. Also, every once in a while, it will fail to pass power to my laptop for charging. It is very frustration, but I'l sort of learned to put up with it. I will probably look to replace it soon.
