Having multiple screens is a great way to increase productivity. The freezing screens may be related to the video drivers on your computer. If the video drivers are outdated I would recommend updating them. If that does not resolve the issue feel free to contact our customer support team for troubleshooting help. Not a true triple display setup

This is not true triple monitor setup. The dock is capable of driving two monitors via the USB3.1 ports, however the third monitor is driving by a USB monitor adapter that is built in. OSX Catalina is very strict about certain types of driver installation and if you don't allow EVERY.SINGLE.CHANGE requested by the driver, the third monitor will never work and you will have to do quite a bit of futzing around to get it to work again. There are better options that's cheaper and works better than this.

The JCD543 will allow you to add up to three additional monitors to your laptop. One through a VGA port and another one through a HDMI port; both of these run off drivers that need to be installed on your computer. The third display can connect through HDMI or Display Port and this is only possible if the USB-C port that you plug the dock into on your computer supports display port alternate mode.
