Don’t buy it if you have a new computer.

My computer with a Snapdragon X Elite processor and this dock will not work with it. I called the manufacturer and they told me my computer is too advanced for their dock designed in 2017. J5 Create sells outdated and antiquated junk.

Posted .It sounds like you’re experiencing compatibility issues between the USB-C Triple Display Docking Station and your Snapdragon X Elite-based computer.
Unlike Intel and AMD chips, ARM-based Windows devices often have limited driver support for accessories like docking stations.
The JCD543 relies on MCT technology for multiple displays, but Snapdragon devices may not fully support MCT drivers yet.
Ensure your Snapdragon laptop supports DisplayPort Alt Mode through USB-C (some ARM devices don’t)

This is not true triple monitor setup. The dock is capable of driving two monitors via the USB3.1 ports, however the third monitor is driving by a USB monitor adapter that is built in. OSX Catalina is very strict about certain types of driver installation and if you don't allow EVERY.SINGLE.CHANGE requested by the driver, the third monitor will never work and you will have to do quite a bit of futzing around to get it to work again. There are better options that's cheaper and works better than this.

The JCD543 will allow you to add up to three additional monitors to your laptop. One through a VGA port and another one through a HDMI port; both of these run off drivers that need to be installed on your computer. The third display can connect through HDMI or Display Port and this is only possible if the USB-C port that you plug the dock into on your computer supports display port alternate mode. I am not sure if this is the docking station but sometimes the screens freeze and I have to unplug the station to reset the screens.

Having multiple screens is a great way to increase productivity. The freezing screens may be related to the video drivers on your computer. Good docking station for MacBook Pro

It does all the things it says it will do ...... plus one more. It runs all the things I need to, but now and then (about once per day) the external monitor locks up and I have to unplug the docking station from the laptop for 10 seconds and plug it back in. Also, every once in a while, it will fail to pass power to my laptop for charging. It is very frustration, but I'l sort of learned to put up with it. I will probably look to replace it soon.
