I bought this to use with a new MacBookAir. First issue is needing to download software to use it. When I went to the website, a 'pop up' warning said this will not work on Apple iOS Big Sur which is the OS I have. This should have been listed on the box. The USB Type-C connecting cable is not convenient to use depending on desk space to connect other inputs.

I had to install a driver to use the 2nd external display (2 external monitors plus my laptop) as it does state in the packaging when you get the device. I use my work laptop, a Lenovo T580 and works with really no issues to speak of after nearly a month of use working from home. The only thing I've noticed is that when I turn on my laptop it does say that the power source is less output than the factory charger. However I've never had any issues with it holding a charge when working 8 hour days. I would recommend this device.

Computer Kept Locking Up

My computer would completely freeze up to the point I would have to do a hard shut down and restart at least 5x a day. I bought a different dock off of Amazon and will be returning this one. It’s disappointing because this dock has a lot of ports but I couldn’t get it to work even after updating the driver.

I am sorry that the triple display docking station did not meet your needs. It may not have been made clear when you purchased the dock, but it can be powered with a USB Type-C power input. The power input will charge your laptop as well. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
