One has to be connected directly to your laptop and the other to the docking station when using HDMI. Go with the lenovo brand. It is way better. But it does work.....

I produce finished, ready for release digit content from visuals to music videos to complete albums. With this set up, I'm running 4 monitors with full control of each screen. It saves me an incredible amount of time not spent changing from one screen to the next. I easily and quickly connects to my MacPro laptop with one connection. Worth it at twice the price!

Only 1 functional monitor as far as I can tell

There is a "either DP or HDMI" port that is you use the HDMI port the screen is constantly flickering, stripping, resizing, or columns getting transposed from left to right. The other HDMI port seems ok.

Posted .The USB Type A ports can be used for keyboards, mice, flash drives, webcam and so on. We do not recommend daisy chaining adapters via USB ports. We cannot guarantee proper functionality. The HDMI or DP video ports requires that a computer supports "DisplayPort Alt Mode" over USB-C. Please contact our Technical Support Team, so that they can get more information from you. Cord too short!

But I try to connect a VGA type monitor and did not work. I try the monitor with my older laptop and it work fine. Maybe I will update my review once I had used it for a while.

It is nice to have the printer and 2nd monitor hooked up to it, but I almost sent it back due to how difficult it is to turn laptop on.
