My Dell laptop gives me the error that Laptop is not getting sufficient power for charging.

Posted .Verify that the USB-C port on your laptop is compatible with power delivery (PD) for charging. Not all USB-C ports on laptops support charging through a docking station. Look for a USB-C port labeled with a charging symbol or "PD." Ensure that the power adapter or brick connected to the docking station provides enough wattage to charge your laptop. When using the power-in port on the Dock, it will provide pass-through charge, as well as providing additional power to the USB ports. Check the power management settings on your laptop. Some laptops have power settings that allow you to adjust charging behavior. Ensure that your laptop is set to accept power from the docking station.

It took a while to get everything set up, driver download errors, and approving access. It took multiple calls to customer service, which was honestly great. They were very helpful with the set up. The dock was great when it was working! Loved the mega desk vibes. However, within 2 hours of using the dock with my 2 external monitors, Insignia 19' TVs that are plugged into a wall, the dock was very warm and ended up completely draining my computer's battery. I called customer service, they said it was likely a computer problem and directed me to call Apple. I contacted apple support, my charger and computer were thankfully fine. I called customer service again and they said it shouldn't be functioning like that with just two external monitors. If it happens again, I should swap it. Well, not running that risk on this expensive brand new MacBook Pro. My husband is headed to Best Buy now to swap it out. Will update if/when anything changes.

While it is nice to have the adapter to the extra monitors and USB-C. I've had issues keeping a good connection and the USB-C wire at the right length. For the price, I'm not sure it really lives up to the expectations.
