I tried to contact the store manager right after to tell him how great Fin was, also very patient with old people with not a clue what we should get for our I Mac. I never hit the right time to talk to the manager, but I hope he sees this.

Posted .We apologize for the inconvenience, misinformation on the JCD543 power supply and understand the need for clarification; the JCD543 has an optional power supply to charge your laptop computer if applicable, but it is not necessary; only recommended to provide additional power to the docking station as well as charging. Great for connecting hard drives

This did not work for that. Yes I could connect to many devices, but I was not able to get the screen to connect via USB-C or via HDMI. Was it a power issue or a Surface pro issue, I don't know. After 30 minutes of trying to make it work, I gave up and returned the item.

Posted .HDMI or DP ports requires computers to support DP Alt Mode for video out. We recommend only using HDMI, DP and VGA cable, no conversions or adapters.

Posted .While the dock does support plug-and-play functionality for many systems, some features, such as multi-display output, requires a driver installation.

It took two calls with their support to get the correct drivers (hint they are NOT the latest drivers on their website.) I was required to install the drivers twice in succession (which is normal according to J5create support) to get the device to recognize two monitors at the correct resolution. It also does NOT support USB3 -> thunderbolt adapter to use Target Display Mode. This product did, however, support both my MacBook and my wife's dell. After I finally had purchased two actual 2560x1440 monitors and got the drivers and correctly installed, I had it working for a couple of weeks, before the entire device went black box just up and died on me. Now my MacBook Pro or my wife's Dell no longer recognizes any external device has bee plugged in. No recognition of the power, video, audio, or network. Overall, I am VERY disappointed in this product and do not recommend it for purchase.

Very Happy, Works with Lenovo Flex 5

No HDMI ports worked. I read that this hub had drivers that would allow my to use it with my Lenovo Flex 5. Well, it certainly does! I'm very happy with the quality of build and the thought that went into this hub. It was a bit pricey, but worth every penny!
