The "third" display has to be VGA. Who runs a triple monitor setup in 2023 where the third display is VGA? I really wish this product worked for me but the marketing was a bit misleading on this one. Otherwise the driver installer looks like it was made in 1993.

If you are running 2 displays and try to plug a camera into the USB the camera wont work. Input becomes very static. The USB C connection to laptop is crazy small, finding a place to hide all the wires is extremely difficult. expect hours of cable management. I get about 120hz at 1440p but it has a large amount of lag when gaming. DO NOT GAME WITH THIS, the input lag is ridiculous, almost unplayable. The Ethernet works, but also tends to stop working at random moments and you have to unplug and plug the dock back into the laptop. for reference i am using a Razer Blade 14 2021 laptop for this review. I do not have Thunderbolt support, but this dock does not advertise the need for Thunderbold.

The Dock is not intended for graphic intensive applications, such as gaming due to lagging situations. Almost immediate failure, poor support

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the device for a month, I've had the following issues: -unlike my last docking station, when it goes to sleep, all the screens lose their location, meaning that all apps are on different screens when I wake the system, so every time I log in, I need to rearrange all my apps, and that's a pain in the neck with seven screens. -a week after installation, the ethernet port failed. By the time I got support from J5, the poor BestBuy TWO WEEK return policy expired, so I have no choice but to request a replacement from J5. J5 will replace, but I need to send the old one back FIRST. They won't cross-ship, even after I offered to let them charge my credit card until they get the defective one back, but they won't do that either. So in order to get a replacement, I'd need to do without my seven screens for an unknown extended period of time while I ship the old one back and wait for a new one to be shipped. Working from an 11" laptop screen in my job is not possible, so I'll need to find a replacement and put the J5 device on eBay. (Seven screens on a Windows 10 machine? Yes...one direct from laptop HDMI port, three from the dock, one wireless and two using USB video converters).

Did Not Work with HP - Spectre x360

It is supposed to be a plug and play; however that did not work. Also, it does not have a power adopter and must be purchased separately. When I plugged it into my HP; my laptop shut down and had to do an update. I restarted my laptop and I went to the website and downloaded the driver. Still did not work. Every time I plugged it into my HP, the laptop would "freeze" and needed to restart. I am not tech savvy or perhaps my HP had some other issues (which is brand new) - This docking station just did not work for me. So, I will return it and continue my search.

Awesome Docking Station

I dock my MacBook Pro to connect to 2 monitors, camera and speakers with zero issues. It looks great on my desktop and works well compared to others docs that have failed after a few months.

It seems that one of the HDMI ports do not work so I’m only limited to two screens instead of three. All the other port functions work fine.

Up to 3 monitors, no waiting

The VGA output allows the older monitors to continue to be used, while the HDMI outputs give the flexibility of 3 monitors if the user wants. Several USB jacks make these the perfect docking stations.

I was looking for docking station that I could hook up HDMI, VGA, and DP. Unfortunately, I was unable to use the HDMI and DP at the same time - It was one or the other. I’m able to use only 2 of the 3 screens, not exactly what I was looking for, but it will do for now.

MacBook Docking Station Works Great

Although be aware that if you dont have an external MacBook keyboard your commands are going to be different on the keyboard, and that will take some getting use to.
