I hope that this gets to you before you make a trip out. The webcam has an integrated microphone so it does not require a separate microphone. The camera is a simple plug and play device; so you can plug it in and open up the application that you are going to use and you are good to go.

These days with so many people working from home and left scrambling to set up home offices plug and play devices like this j5create webcam are making the transition easier. this webcam does not have any software drivers that need to be installed to make it work. Shuts Down in the Video Conference Platform

Not only that, it would shut down the laptop's camera as well. I tried upgrading my USB splitter and even using it in a direct port, but nothing fixed the problem. I finally returned it just before the 60 day return window was up.
