There are similar priced cameras that have privacy tabs that are better choices. WE purchased on the recommendation of the associate in the store. Didn't know that there were Webcams without lens cover/privacy.

I was planning on using this for my zooms, but when I use it, my face glows. I look so pale. If you don't have a lot of light, but you don't have no light, it's a pretty good webcam. Its plug and play which is awesome.
