Great camera for homeschooling

Thank you for reviewing the webcam. A lens cover is a feature that has been requested from other users and it may appear in future products; we appreciate your feedback. In the meantime you can take advantage of the camera’s 360 degree rotation and point it at a nearby wall when you do not want to be on camera.

Simple to use

Good camera, good low light capability

This j5create webcam has a 1080p lens and a high fidelity microphone. With these features you will be seen and heard clearly. The rotation is another great feature that you won’t find on a lot of webcams.

Good price but make sure it meets your requirement

Good device but microphone did not meet my expectations. When I did video meeting, I found the sound output weak, according to other participants, and no software adjustment was available on my Mac. The only solution was just moving much closer to the device. For the record, device was mounted on the center top of monitor.

I regret to hear that the microphone is not performing to your expectations. We have heard this issue from other users of the webcam and we developed a firmware update that may resolve the audio issue that you are encountering. However it can only be ran on a Windows computer, but the fix will implemented on your Mac after it is installed. The j5create customer support team would be happy to assist you with installing the firmware update.
