I set it up on top of my monitor and plugged it in and it worked great. A couple days later I had to take a quiz and my teacher asked i adjust my webcam to show my desk area. As soon as i touched it the device was showing that it was not recognizable. Turns out the usb cable is defective and only works at an angle it likes.

If a retailer exchange is not possible, I would recommend j5create support and inquire about a warranty exchange. Had Issues with Zoom

Every time that the presenter put us in breakout rooms this camera would fail. I have a spare Nexigo camera that is the same price, but it has no issues.

It is great to hear that you like this j5create webcam. It is plug and play so there is no extra software to download and install to get it up and running. The camera also has 1080p playback and a high Fidelity microphone built in.

Now, i hate to hammer it, because it could be my monitor.
