Not the beat web cam out there

Posted .The webcam is a PnP device, no drivers required. Please check the manufacture of your computer for any available updates such as BIOS, Hardware Drivers, etc. Cordially, j5.

However, since there is no software, there is no way to adjust the focus, brightness, hue, contrast, etc.

Thank you for sharing your feedback about the webcam. The camera does not have any native controls. Depending on the application that you are using with the camera there may be software settings to adjust the picture. The camera has a lot of features at its price point including 1080p recording, low light enhancement, and plug and play installation.

Very red, high contrast, poor color detail

High level of contrast also blows out any light, so you appear really shiny. Poor depth of color, especially darker colors / darker hair where you lose all detail. Using on a MacBook Pro, switched to (and recommend) the Logitec C922 Pro HD Stream Webcam instead.

They do not have an option for changing the view of field, so that means your audience will see your entire house during virtual video meetings. I was told by a support rep on Monday, they offer this, but come to find out, I was lied to. Waste of money and I have to buy a webcam that has adjustable change of view

Great video; lousy audio
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.There were two good things about this camera: (1) the video quality was excellent; and (2) BB made it very easy to return the camera to a local BB store. Otherwise, it was a complete disappointment since the the audio was useless. I attempted to use this on three different computers, and on each one loud static made it impossible to carry on a conversation. This would have been OK if I were teaching hearing impaired students who could read my lips. This is not the case with my students. I might have tried exchanging it, rather than returning it, but this was the second web cam I purchased that had a faulty audio. So, I decided to make due with the built in web-cam on my lap top; despite the smaller screen and lesser quality video, the lap top's audio is just great.

In response to this we have developed a firmware update to the webcam designed to resolve the audio issues. It can be downloaded from the j5create website. It continued to freeze regularly which resulted in me having to continually unplug and replug it to my computer. Can you say ANNOYING!! I returned it and went with a Logitech webcam in which I’ve had ZERO issues with.

Poor Image, very dark, during meetings.
