    Lasted 4 months before it stopped working. I can get it to power up but not to display anything other than black.

    Just a horrible camera!

    I purchased this because the reviews that were left seemed solid and honest. Once I actually tried using it, I was pretty shocked to how poor the video quality is. Additionally, the microphone is absolutely terrible, abysmal actually. I needed to leave review for this camera. Avoid my internet friends, avoid.

      We really appreciate your feedback and would like to our best to make this right for you. The camera records at 1080p so while not the best image, it should be better than you are experiencing. Second, we have received feedback regarding the audio quality. To resolve that we have developed a firmware upgrade to fix the microphone issue.     Worked ok for a month then broke.

    Worked fine for about a month and now won’t work at all. Camera turns on for a split second then turns off.

    Keeps falling off... doesn't really attach to top of computer so continually falls off. Returning it.

      In the case where the JVCU100 is not securing tightly to the top of your monitor, we may be able to exchange it for another JVCU100 that does include a rubber for a more secure attachment.     camera cable was damaged, bad audio

    The video worked decently, the audio however was warbled in certain positions, when holding the camera the audio worked fine. When the camera was attached to the monitor the audio became distorted and warbled. Looking at the cable, it is damaged and that may be the cause of the problem. I have done a return and now have to spend time going to the store for a return.

      Thank you very much for your feedback. If you have not yet returned your webcam we have developed a firmware update that is designed to fix some audio issues with the camera microphone. You can contact our customer support team and they can assist you with updating the camera firmware. Our contact information is on the product packaging and on our website.     I am on my second J5create webcam, and they have both stopped working after just a few weeks.

    I'm sure this would have been a great camera but we could not download drivers for it with Windows. We had to return it.

      Kristi, I'm sorry to hear you were unable to properly setup your JVCU100. The web camera is plug-and-play and requires no software installation. In order to activate and depending on the app you are using, we may be able to assist.     Works sometimes. It bugs my computer out when I try turning on my camera. I have to unplug and plug it back in very often.

    Never received this item and ordered an adapter to go with it so waste if money all around . The adapter came and the camera never shipped. I waited weeks for an item they now say is no longer available. This is particularly inconvenient during a time when the kids need it for school. As well as I paid for 2 items and now I have wasted 15.00 on cable i can not use

In the case where you are seeing a pink color, we have the companion app that is free of charge, obtainable from the manufacturer's website for adjusting settings such as hue, brightness, contrast and more. The JVCU360 for instance has a 9 ft long cable which may better work for your needs.

    Unable to adjust video settings

    JVCU Series Companion will not allow to adjust HUE. J5Create said it was unable to update firmware even though i just purchased it 8 days ago. I would have to pay to return and wait for replacement. Nice camera, but you can't adjust quality of video.

      mark87508, we sincerely regret to hear about your experience with us. The companion app should allow you to adjust configurations such as hue, brightness, contrast and more. In the case where it does not, we attempt to update the firmware. In extreme cases, we suggest exchanging the JVCU100 with us and we will ship you out a replacement that has been updated in order to remove any flaws you may have experienced. If possible, we would value the opportunity to discuss the process of exchanging the JVCU100 in regards to shipping costs.     This item was used obviously as it was scratched and smudged. There is nowhere I can go online to let you know this I can return it but right now it’s imperative that I am able to use it no matter what condition it is in cosmetically.

    I could not get my Windows 10 desktop computer to recognize the Microphone. I spent an hour and a half on the phone with the j5create tech support with no luck. He finally suggested that I return the camera. I am going to do that.

    Garbage & Not Worth the Trouble

    Have had this webcam less than 2 months and it just died inexplicably. For $60 I expected it to last a year at least. Save yourself the trouble as Best Buys return policy is only 2 weeks. Not worth it at all and I'm not buying anything else from Best Buy either.
