Happy with this purchase as well! I love Best Buy!

I needed my laptops to communicate and this worked.

I ended up returning this because I did not need it to transfer files from my PC to my new Mac. If you require something like this, it seems to be packaged well and visually good quality, but I never used it as it was not needed.

I didn't like this product at all. Maybe I thought I bought something else but I still tried using this cord and I couldn't get it to work. It showed up on my Mac indicating it was connected but nothing ever happened. I'm hoping I just had a slow moment and/or the Best Buy employee gave me the wrong product, but I was so frustrated with it that I haven't tried messing with it for its other capabilities. So for all I know it's a great product, I just had a bad experience with it.

After several unsuccessful attempts to correctly finish a data transfer I returned the product. Best Buy issued a full refund. No questions asked.

I recommend it . Worked great. My files I needed are in my new computer now

I purchased the cable, followed the directions and it did not work. I used a flash drive to transfer files instead.

Just the item I was looking for; and Best Buy at it in stock.

I brought this item to move files from my pc to my Mac I thought it would be simple and it wasn't took it back

Sales person recommended this product to download files from an old Mac to my new macbook. OSs were not compatible with each other. Found it easier to save files to a fab to transfer to new computer. Wish the sales person would have had more knowledge would have saved frustrating time.

Did a nice job of transferring all my files, but it took along time, almost 14 hours.

Was told just plugging this in would greatly speed the conversion from old windows PC to IMAC. I'm sure i could have messed with it , but for almost $40, I opted for the refund and used my back-up drive. Much easier drag and drop.

Way to complicated and does not work as advertised

I am comfortable with the technical issues surrounding computers and able to figure out what needs to be done to make things work. This was one product that I could not get to work. The instructions were poorly written and was hard to figure out.

I returned it! yes it works till I upset my wife by having a cord stretching across the the den/office AND taking control randomly her computer

I could not get it to work. I could not figure out the problem so I found a different way to move files from my old computer to my new one.

After repeated tries it finally made the connection but could not get information to transfer between PC's.

This item consistently crashed my XP machine. Not useful.

it doesn't work. the Belkin works much better. ...

Bought to enable file transfer using Microsoft utility for transfer from old laptop to new. Kept crashing when plugged into both PCs. Returned to BB for full credit and transfer too 16 hrs using wireless.
