Jabra is making some of the best earbuds available
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recommend these to anyone looking for a great pair of earbuds under the three hundred mark. They have an excellent fit, long-lasting battery, superb spatial audio, intuitive and programmable controls, and quick pairing with all operating system but especially fast on Android and Windows 11. The brand claims the noise cancellation is now twice as strong, and I can’t argue with that. The already impressive ANC has reached a level where it can block out car traffic, conversations, air conditioning, and even make the kids' yelling bearable. I found the ANC to better than some competition but maybe not top five. The Hear Through mode works very well. It doesn't sound robotic, however, I had a few issues with it not letting through audio but it would come back right away. Also, I could not find a fit where the hear through was not muted slightly because the eartips blocked some of the sound. Even though the earbuds are very comfortably, they slipped out when I got sweaty and had to readjust multiple times. It got to the point it was frustrating. It could be because I have a lot of trouble finding tight fitting earbuds overall. The Jabra Elite 8 sport buds may have been a better choice for me but just for activity? The Elite 10 introduces “head tracking,” which I found to better implemented than the bitten fruit company's. The sound moves with you and comes from all directions. I don't think it helps much with immersion but it doesn't seem as distracting as I've experienced with other buds. I kept the spatial audio but turned off the head tracking. The Dolby Atmos is definitely a great addition and I use it daily. I love it with movies and shows. have to have to play with it more when listening to music. It might be better to turn it off or choose it based on the type of music. From what I’ve read, the improvements in Gen 2 are incremental but I can't comment further. I'd love to try the Elite 8 since I like to use it for backyard work and walking but I may not like losing the superior comfort sound, and noise cancellation of the Elite 10. Jabra earbuds should definitely be on anyone's short list of top tier earbuds.

Great Spatial Sound
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall very impressed with my first set of Jabra earbuds. The case and the Jabra Elite 10 earbuds are similiar in size to many other earbuds on the market and the three sets I own from other manufacturers. Of the four brands I now own, these are the most comfortable, with no discomfort after 3 hours or continuous use. I used them during a league bowling night. I was happy with the sound quality in the loud environment. The Noise Cancelling was good, but some of the sounds did bleed through and the Hear Through allowed me the have conversations without removing the buds, although I feel it wasn’t quite as good at this as some of my other buds. Where the Jabra Elite 10’a really shine is the sound field, especially with the spatial sound is enabled with Head Tracking on. Listening to music or videos, the sound feels like it’s just in front of my forehead and not in my ears and as I turn my head from side to side the sound shifts some to whichever ear is facing front. I’m also impressed by the app. Which gives you the usual settings options, but also has a Soundscapes setting where you can just from a good selection of nature and other noise settings such as Crowd, Babbling Brook, Perfect Storm or just pink or white noise. Finally the best feature in my opinion is the case itself. With the usb-c charging cable there is mini headphone adapter that allows you to connect the case to other devices and pass through the sound to the earbuds. I had to get a 1/8 to 1/4 headphone adapter which then allows me to connect the case to my surround sound receiver and watch movies at night with the volume as loud as I’d like without disturbing my family. The first movie I tried this with was TopGun: Maverick and I was very surprised at the sound quality. They are supposed to supposed Dolby Atmos, which my system does as well, but I think that’s coming in a future firmware update.

My new favorite earbuds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you struggle with finding comfortable earbuds with great sound, look no further! I can't say enough good things about these earbuds. They come in a pretty standard charging case, doesn't take up much room and easily fits in a pocket or a small bag for on the go. These charge fast, and hold a charge for longer than I expected with how great they sound. Not only do these have bluetooth, but you can also use the included adapter to plug into a headphone jack and you can listen that way too. The app you download takes care of registering your product so that saved some extra steps and I like that you can quickly access the guide for the earbuds. You can control a lot of phone functions directly from the earbuds and there are options for noise cancelling as well. These come with different sized earbud tips but they are also shaped different. Most tips are round and I struggle to find the most comfortable fit or one that will let me wear the earbuds for more than an hour without discomfort. These are shaped different, more of a triangle or cone type shape and they seem to rest in your ear vs. having to fit it into your ear. The sound is great for music and podcasts or shows. I've had no issue with taking phone calls and being heard clearly. I use these constantly when I facetime now so I can do that handsfree without using speakerphone. I highly recommend you try these if you want comfort and quality sound.

These are now my absolute favorite earbuds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First things first, these are the most comfortable earbuds I've ever used. I've tried multiple Sony in ear, every version of Apple, Beats, Amazon, and several versions of Anker. Granted most of those did not have ANC but for pure comfort alone these Jabra have been the pinnacle of my earbud journey. This will most likely be unique to everyone's ear shape but beyond the comfort, the Jabras perform well as earbuds themselves also. The ANC is great when properly seated in my ear and I was able to test them on a plane (both in and out). Noise cancellation was night and day sitting near the engine on the way back and the passthrough worked well when I switched it on when the stewardess walked past. Overall audio is on par with the other earbuds I've mentioned above and would slot into the top 3. The volume between different devices definitely varied quite a bit and I initially had some hiccups with phone calls but that was mainly using the dual device connection that allows you to connect it to multiple systems at once. I got that squared away and call quality was A+. Still working on volume associated with playing music from a phone but everything else works well including calls, computer usage, and general apps outside music.

Fantastic wireless earbuds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are my first pair of Jabra headphones and I am thoroughly impressed by the audio quality of these wireless earbuds. I appreciate the active noise canceling feature for when I don't want to be disturbed. And the HearThrough mode will allow you to take in more of your surroundings, which is good if you use them on a run. The Elite 10 Gen2 wireless headphones were super easy to pair with my phone and other devices, and you can be connected to two devices at the same time. I really like that I can see how much battery life each earbud and the case has through my phone. One cool feature is that they'll auto pause the music if you take one earbud out of your ear and then will resume playing when you put it back in. I like the ability to use the 3.5mm headphone jack adapter to be able to stream audio from devices that don't have bluetooth. The headphones come with a few different sized tips, they are light weight and overall feel very comfortable to wear. If you're looking for premium wireless headphones that can do it all, then I highly recommend the Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2's.

Auto switching wireless ear buds that sound great
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: -awesome sound quality -durable for exercise -comfortable Cons: -app required to setup -color seems like it will show wear over time -shape of ear bud is odd These earbuds offer exceptional noise-canceling, making them perfect for noisy commutes or zoning out at home. They deliver top-notch sound quality with a good balance of bass, ideal for music and calls. The earbuds fit comfortably with multiple tip sizes, staying secure even during workouts. They boast solid battery life—around 8 hours per charge and up to 30 hours with the case. Easy to connect to devices and compatible with voice assistants, they offer convenient usage. While the mandatory app setup was inconvenient, the earbuds remained firm during a 4-mile run, delivered excellent sound, and transitioned smoothly to a laptop for Teams video calls. The noise-canceling mics worked well, providing clear calls even when walking dogs at night. Battery life lasted all week with weekly case charging. Overall, these earbuds are a fantastic choice for great sound and a comfortable fit.

The little earbud that packs a punch.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 is actually my first Jabra product trying out. I have to say I'm extremely impressed with the quality here. The earbud fits perfectly in my ear and feels like its stuck there, no worry of it popping out while I'm on the elliptical or treadmill and with IP 57 rating you can be sure a little sweat won't hurt it either. I tried these out while at work for a few hours in and out of a vehicle lifting heavy things and honestly forgot they were there. The features might be the most impressive part of these earbuds. The noise cancelling is extremely impressive and worked great at eliminating alot of the noise around me. You can also switch over to what Jabra calls HearThrough and hear everything around you almost as naturally as you would without an earbud in your ear. All these features can be activated by pressing the tactic click button on the side of the Jabra. I wasn't sure how I felt about the click button but honestly I like it. Alot of my other earbuds get activated and perform functions when I accidentally swipe them, these I don't have to worry about that. The earbud offers up to 6 hours of playback on ANC mode which is pretty dang good. Call quality may be the best of any earbud I've owned. Background noises are pretty much eliminated from the sound the other person hears on the phone. This is usually an issue for manufacturers. They get everything right except call quality. Not with Jabra. You can also activate thru the app the ability to use head tracking and it's extremely noticeable. What might be the coolest thing about these earbuds is the ability for the LE smart case to stream spatial audio from literally any device with a 3.5 jack. So you plug the provided 3.5 to usb c jack into any device and put the earbuds in and boom Dolby atmos audio. So cool. I'm going to be using these at the job, on the go, at home, while gaming...pretty much endless use with this features as long as I'm able to keep up with the little cord. These earbuds are legitimately top tier in my opinion and the ability to stream from any 3.5" jack to the earbuds might be a game changer if that fits a need for you.

Don't pre-order from bestbuy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all I would highly recommend not pre-ordering from bestbuy, I ordered like 3 weeks before they were going to release and it kept saying "should" emphasize "should" get shipped but the day came and went and they told me that it would take another 14 days. I highly recommend getting them from Jabra website they offer 1 day shipping! On the earbuds, these things are really good! Using the iPhone 15 Pro Max They connect extremely fast! Bass is not like bose but it's good! Mids are on the same level as bose. The thing that has been a benefactor for is the microphone! The microphone is extremely good! They definitely upgraded the microphone. The best thing about these that I had a problem with other earbuds is the music is not dependent of eartips! So if you need to go smaller eartips you don't sacrifice sound, if you have tried a bunch of earbuds you know what I'm talking about! Earbuds I have tried: Momentum 4, bose Ultra, beats fit pro, airpods pro 2, Cambridge Audio Melomania M10 Also the a feature of these that is going to be a game changer is being able to plug these into anything that has a 3.5mm audio jack and use them on that device!

Excellent and an improvement over previous gen!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a user of the previous generation of Jabra earbuds for about 2 years. I love them. They are amazing. Did some research into the Elite 10 Gen 2 and it looked like they were also very good. Well, not only is the sound better than my previous generation Jabra earbuds, the comfort is improved as well. The noise cancellation also seems to be improved but the previous gen earbuds were also good. So if you are looking for a good earbuds that have great noise cancellation and are easy on the ears. This will do. This will do just nicely.

Good audio, great mic pickup for earbuds!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Jabra Elite 10 wireless earbuds are a premium set of earbuds from Jabra. These are stylish, finished in the titanium black colorway and it does look good. Compared to some other earbuds, these have a larger housing though still rounded. These come with a battery charging case that can itself be charged wirelessly or via USB-C. In many ways, every feature the Elite 10 boasts is the same as the pro earbuds from a certain large cell phone manufacturer. As it happens, I have one of those as my current daily driver so my view is primarily focused on what the Elite 10 does better or worse. My general use of wireless earbuds falls into listening to music/GPS navigation or taking calls on my ride to work, taking video calls, and listening to music while working out at the gym. For the first, I like active noise canceling to remove wind noise but also adaptive volume to reduce the earbud audio if listening to music and I start talking to someone. For video calls, my primary need aside from good mic pickup is that the earbuds seamlessly switch from my phone to computer. Gym workouts mostly need comfort and that the earbuds don’t fall out of my ears. On the first point, the Elite 10 does well providing good sound reproduction, able to remove some amount of background noise though callers report still hearing wind noise when I was above 20mph. Picking up my voice was good and this carried over to the video calls. There’s an adaptive wind setting but honestly it did not seem to make a difference in reported noise when on versus off. But I think the mics on this were stand out compared to my daily driver. The mic difference was even more noticeable on video calls because that’s where I tend to run into more problems. I’m naturally soft spoken and instinctively adjust my volume to match my surroundings. In a quiet environment, I am quiet. When riding, the wind noise causes me to raise my volume but as I’m enclosed in my helmet, callers get a better signal to noise ratio. I’ve tended to need to use headsets with boom mics for indoor calls as my normal earbuds seem to have issues. I don’t think these outperformed my boom mic headset for indoor pickup of my voice, but I definitely got less complaints using these - their performance was a lot less variable. The Elite 10 also did a good job with switching between my phone and computer. The behavior sometimes is annoying, like it would switch to my phone if I got a notification that had audio while I was on a video call on my PC so I generally needed to remember to set my phone to vibrate or silent when I wanted to prioritize the PC. I wish there was a way to configure priority - like if my phone rings instead of automatically switching to it, play a muted ringtone but keep the audio on my PC until I answer the call. Regarding ear fit, this has consistently been one of the biggest issues I’ve had with water resistance rated earbuds. Either I struggle getting a good fit or sweat destroys the good fit. Here, performance was mixed. I couldn’t get things to be super comfy for normal wear but they seemed to hold up longer in a workout before I’d need to remove and readjust. In all, I think the Elite 10 are a decent choice for premium featured earbuds. My biggest gripes are likely things that can’t be controlled by Jabra (how third party software handles multipoint and how my biomechanics affects fit - seems to affect just about every earbud I’ve tried). I give these a strong recommendation.

Another Excellent Offering From Jabra
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's easy to overlook Jabra. They don't have the same brand identity as more trendy offerings from Apple or Google. Nor do they have the long history of companies like Bose. But they've spent the last few years doing their best to make a compelling case for why that would be a mistake. Because while those big names tend to be content releasing a product and then leaving it alone for the next five or ten years, Jabra is constantly pushing the envelope with new products sporting new features. The second generation Elite 10 exemplifies this by including a feature I didn't expect to ever see in earbuds: support for Dolby Atmos. Of course it has to be said that Dolby decoding doesn't mean much if the base package isn't capable. This decidedly is. Jabra earbuds generally do a very good job of presenting excellent and highly tunable audio while simultaneously allowing however much ambient sound in as you want. The Elite 10 continues this trend. Between the noise cancelling and the design for the earbuds they do a great job blocking out ambient noise, and the pass through audio is quite clear considering. I also didn't really notice any pressure building in my ear canals with the noise cancellation engaged - something that made a set of Bose earphones I'd previously used borderline intolerable to use for more than brief stints. Speaking of comfort, the Elite 10 score fairly well there as well. The earbuds are a little on the large and heavy side compared to some earbuds, but once I'd adjusted the ear cushions I found it to be acceptable. There are four different sizes of cushions in the box that should cover most adult ears. Likewise the charging case/receiver is one of the larger ones I've seen for wireless earbuds in a while, but is still pocketable. Personally I found this to be an acceptable tradeoff given the added features it enables, but it may be a bit offputting for anyone looking for something small and light to use as their daily carry. Finally, let's talk about those features. The Atmos processing here is rather interesting. Rather than trying to recreate the experience of having multiple speakers around the room, the earbuds incorporate head tracking to move the sound around you. I can't say it's entirely comparable to traditional surround sound, but it's certainly a step up from the typical earbud experience when it comes to immersion. The only downside is that support for it is a bit hit or miss. Using the case as a receiver by plugging it into an audio source seems to be the most reliable option - the software on my phone and computer is a lot more hit or miss. Ultimately, I would recommend these earbuds to almost everyone. But probably more for all the other features, rather than the more limited Atmos support. The core tech here is what really sets them apart.

Almost perfect
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 is an upgrade over the Elie 10 (Gen 1) released last year, and to me it was a worthy upgrade. And being purportedly the last consumer earbuds featuring the Jabra brand, the Elite 10 Gen 2 may be the “magnum opus” and maybe the best earbuds available in the market overall. The features, performance, design - all is a testament to the level of perfection Jabra has achieved all these years. The build is top notch, the comfort is superb. Using it day to day is uneventful i.e really great. With these basics mastered, Jabra moves the dial up a notch by adding in some nifty features that really questions why the premium earbuds have not offered them yet. The most useful one is the smart case that supports audio streaming. On top of being a charging case, when connected via the USB-C, or more importantly, with the 3.5mm jack, it acts like a Bluetooth transmitter, and uses the LC3 audio codec over Bluetooth Low Energy (LE). This just makes these earbuds universal - so many times I had to take a wired IEM or headphone with me (or take a dedicated Bluetooth transmitter) just to get some non-Bluetooth system work with my earbuds. This is more pertinent to air travel, where I can now use my own earbuds freely, and use all the features (especially ANC) while tapping into the infotainment system. Besides this, the ability to use any audio source with the earbuds without going through the hassle of pairing and what not just makes life so much better. The only limitations I’ve seen so far is that the audio is one way only i.e. the case only transmits, does not receive from earbuds - so the mics do not work aka it stops being useful as a headset for calls. The second is that when connected to the smart case, the main Bluetooth streaming is disabled. To jump between the sources I had to press the button on the smart case as needed. Compared to whole use case, these are minor gripes in my opinion. The other “special” feature is the support for spatial audio in the form of Dolby Atmos. Now this is something which I have not found to be as impressive as it’s touted to be. It is more dependent on whether the audio source supports this, and at this moment only a few music streaming services have native support. The head tracking works well though, and in some movies on Netflix it added a layer of dimension to the overall experience, but never felt it as a must have. Hopefully it’ll be more useful in the future. I didn’t try this out with gaming though, which is another area Dolby Atmos is touted to be useful. Battery life is good - it’s not the best out there, but compared to the small earbuds and the lightweight case it’s more than adequate. It lasted more than a week going through my usual mix of music, podcast and movies. The case supports both wired and wireless charging, which is always convenient - I can always top up the earbuds in the pinch from my smartphone using wireless power sharing. The wired version supports “fast” charging, so a 5 minute charge will add a good amount of listening time (Jabra claims 1 hour listening time). This has become a norm in the mid-range earbuds market. In terms of connectivity, the earbuds support Bluetooth v5.3, and conveniently for Android and Windows users, it supports both Fast Pair and Swift Pair - I think this should be mandatory for all earbuds. Going into pairing mode immediately creates a popup in nearby devices (if enabled), and if you’re like me and moving between a lot of devices then it’s a must have. Once connected the audio stream either using SBC or AAC depending on devices and settings, and here’s where I think Jabra could’ve done better. A lot of the mid-range earbuds support better audio codecs (such as various forms of aptX or LDAC), so I think it’s very curious why they decided to stick to those standards. The case uses the LC3 codec (with low-latency) when in transmitter mode so it’s even more confusing why that’s missing when connected to a capable smartphone via Bluetooth. Now maybe comes the most critical and important part of the experience - sound quality. Here’s where I found a lot of conflicting comments when I tried to get some impressions from others besides me. For most things out of the box the sound is just fine - nothing special or unique, but it works. However, when I started listening to a lot of familiar tracks, I found some nuances when compared to some reference grade open-back headphones. The earbuds have a “semi-open” design, but I never felt any “airiness” to the sound (or any expansion to the soundstage). There’s some odd dips in the bass, and some sudden peaks mid-treble range - nothing to totally distract me but enough to notice when listening back to back with another headphone or earbud. The EQ, though very primitive, alleviates the issues a bit, but not completely. In summary, this is a great package from Jabra - most of the features are useful and the comfort makes long listening enjoyable. If the sound was a bit less weird, and if the hi-res codecs could be supported, this would’ve been a no brainer.

Great earbuds with excellent Smart Case features
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 are some good earbuds with some really nice features. They come with Dolby Atmos Noise Cancelling technology and they have a really nice Smart Case. The earbuds come in really nice packaging. Setup was fairly easy. The earbuds are supposed to go into pairing mode as soon as you take them out of the Smart Case. However, my earbuds did not do anything. I assumed the battery was dead, so I let them charge a bit and came back to set them up. After letting them charge, they were able to easily pair with my smartphone. Downloading the Jabra Sound + app allows you to customize and enable quite a few features. The app has different EQ settings to tailor the sound to your liking. The sound was different when selecting different EQ settings, but the sound did not change as much as I’d like. The earbuds also come with noise canceling technology, but the noise canceling is not as strong as other earbuds I own. One thing that sets these earbuds apart from other earbuds I own is the Smart Case. It allows you to plug the USB-C cable into the case and the other end of the USB-C cable into a computer or tablet that has a USB-C input. If the device isn’t USB-C, you can attach the headphone adapter onto the end of the USB-C cable. Once everything is plugged in, you press the button on the Smart Case, when the LED light blinks white you will hear an audible chime and then your audio is ready to be heard from the earbuds in your ear. I was not able to get this feature to work at first and became quite frustrated after numerous failed attempts. I later received a notification that my earbuds had a firmware update. After the firmware update I was able to use this feature flawlessly. Overall, these earbuds provide good sound quality and the Smart Case feature is definitely an added plus.

Best earbuds I own
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own a number of earbuds, including Bose Ultras. The active noise canceling is a little better with the bose, but everything else is better with the Elite 10 Gen 2. When connecting to both my phone and laptop, switching is seamless. With other devices this seemed to be buggy. These work flawlessly. The best selling point, and the reason I decided to purchase these, is the call quality. It blocks out background noise and makes great calls. In the car, callers used to have trouble with the road noise coming through. These are crystal clear. Well worth the purchase.

Great all-around headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had a lot of earbud headsets and normally they all have specific purpose they do well. This unit combines a ton of features into one. The earbuds can be stored and charged from the case. The case has the added benefit of connected to any audio output source with a USB-C or audio jack. The case then wireless transmits the sound directly to the earbuds. I have used with my phone, and it can switch effortless to my computer with this transmit ability. This is a huge benefit if you are at the gym and want to connect to a machine's audio jack output and steam directly to your earbuds. The earbuds are light and fit very comfortably. The controls are easy with just varies taps on either earbud. Noise cancelling can be turned off conveniently with just a tap as well. The most interesting feature that is unique to this unit is the Spatial Sound movement control. With this feature enabled, sounds follow your head movements and no matter which we you turn the sound always sounds like it is in front of you. The companion app is useful and provides great feedback on your earbuds and can also be used to locate them. Soothing sounds come pre-loaded in the app, and you can use to relax or help fall sleep as well.

What noise canceling?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these because i lost one of my Jabra Elite 85t's, and those were no longer available. When i first put these on noise canceling was out of this world amazing! I couldn't hear my husband talking next to me on the couch, even without any music playing. But after less than a month they cancel NOTHING. I can hear EVERY sound, at the same volume as if I had nothing in my ears. And when I have them in an on with nothing playing they randomly change the amount of noise going into my ears, even when nothing in my environment has changed. It feels like it's messing with the pressure in my ears when it's doing this too, it's so strange. There must be bugs with the new tech on these, cause i have 2 other pairs of Jabras that I love. But after these... i think I'll be trying a different brand next time.

Perform well
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just want to be helpful for those seeking to get amazing earbuds, these are not. When it comes to noise canceling they are really good, audio quality is amazing but it lacks bass, bass is terrible due to its semi open earbud design. My older Jabra Elite 4 Active are way better
