No way to turn off HearThrough when using one bud
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a dealbreaker for me - ended up returning them as unlike the Elite 7 Pro and other Jabra earbuds before that, there is no way to turn off HearThrough (aka transparency mode) always turning on when you only have one earbud in.

Posted .Hello Mike - Thank you for posting your review. We are very sorry to learn that the Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 did not meet your expectations. While Active Noise Cancellation will always be active when on a call using the Elite 10 Gen 2, you may cycle through the Sound Modes (ANC, HearThrough, or Off) when using a single earbud using the Jabra Sound+ app. The earbud will default to HearThrough mode to limit the occlusion effect in the ear wearing the earbud. You can always contact our Support Team whenever you have a question about a Jabra product. You can find contact information on the Jabra website at https://bit.ly/3Lckenn. Thanks again.

Comfortable and great for business. Poor ANC.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 excels in all day comfort, crystal clear calls, Dolby Atmos and Spatial content, and rock-solid connectivity. Hear through, ANC, two-channel stereo, and the Smart Base have room for improvement. Comfort: Hands down the Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 are the most comfortable earbuds I have ever owned. I can wear these for two plus hours. My ears may become fatigued but they seldom ache. I normally use a Plantronic over ear headphones for phone and conference calls throughout the day. The Elite 10’s are the only earbuds I have used consistently with work. They are comfortable, voice calls are crystal clear, connectivity between computer and earbuds are rock solid, and the ANC is strong enough to allow me to focus on my callers instead of the room. Music: Music is hit or miss. Bass is lacking regardless of how the EQ is set in the Jabra+ application. But hold that thought. I’ll get back to bass in the next section. The lower midrange is weak or does not reverberate long enough to add any real power behind the music. Singers are elevated and brought to the forefront of the soundstage. Sometimes this is a good thing and sometimes it separates the singer from the rest of the piece. Classical and Jazz sound really good. The EQ, adjustable via the Jabra+ app, can be used to compensate and season to taste. But, it can only correct for so much. Overall, music is enjoyable. It just is not my go-to for critical listening. Unless… Dolby Atmos: Dolby Atmos is fantastic when it works. It totally transforms the musicality of the Elite 10’s. It makes no sense. Everything I just finished complaining about do not exist with a properly mixed Dolby Atmos track. My goodness, these things will envelop you in a sound field that, at times, feels like a concert hall. This was made most apparent to me when I played a Dolby Atmos organ piece from the album, Midnight at Notre-Dame, titled “Cantata” Wir Danken dir, Gott, wir danken dir”, MWV 29: I. Sinfonia. You can find this on the playlist “Best of Dolby Atmos” published by Deutsche Grammaphon on iTunes. Just do a search. There be earth groaning organ bass in these tunes! Vibrate your ears organ immersion. Where is this with two channel content! I don’t understand! Windows 10 and Windows 11 has an application in the Windows App Store titled, “Dolby Atmos.” Unfortunately, you have to pay for a license to use Atmos with headphones. Windows will not process Dolby Atmos without this app. I signed up the 7-day free trial and played through the Application’s Dolby Test tracks. Now, we need to keep one thing in mind. This app will turn any pair of headphones into Dolby. So, this does little for the buil-in capabilities of the Elite 10’s. However, the same power, reverberation, spaciousness, and immersion I experienced with the organ piece described above was present here and then some. Bottom line, the Elite 10’s have some serious musical performance potential. In my opinion, Jabra has some additional tuning opportunities to elevate two-channel listening to the same level as the Elite 10’s Atmos performance. Finally, I was not able to test the Elite 10’s Atmos performance with my TV, streaming services, or with 4K Bluerays through m AVR. First, nether my TVs or AVRs support USB output. So, the Smart Base connectivity is out. Second, my AVRs only support stereo transmission to headphones via Bluetooth. Boooo! Finally, none of the steaming services seem to delivery a good Atmos experience via PC. Again, Boooo! It is no fault of the Elite 10’s. It is totally the fault of the streaming services. Bottom line, I cannot comment on 4K, TV that transmits Atmos content, or Streaming content. ANC: ANC performs poorly. ANC should be able to neutralize a white noise source, such as a fan, to simulate a quiet room. ANC is not perfect on most products I have owned. However, the Elite 10’s may slightly dull a white noise source. In some cases, it simply increases the frequency of the original noise. This is true for running water, air conditioners, exhaust fans, washing machines, car engines, and road noise caused by both wind and tire noise typically heard inside the car while driving. Strangely, ANC boosts the lower midrange for musical content. Who knew!? ANC will automatically engage during phone calls and conference calls. Does it help? I would argue it is mostly unsuccessful. I did try different tip sizes. Essentially, stuff my ear with material to further isolate my ear canal from the outside world. This increased ear discomfort without affording much benefit. Pass Through: Is another feature that could use some work. The same items ANC has issues with carry through to Pass Through. White noise sources get exaggerated with a slight boost in volume. Normal conversation is outstanding. The feedback of my own voice is a bit muffled which may cause me to speak a little louder than normal if I am not paying attention. Fit: Fit is fantastic and second to none! They stay in place while sitting, while stretching, while walking, while chewing, while talking, while leaning my head on my hand, while jumping, while shaking my head from side to side, while taking a shower, while shaving, and while looking down into the maw of the earbud hungry porcelain basin in my restroom. Most earbuds I own or have owned, including other Jabra products, tend to work their way out of my ears during all of the activities I mention above. And yes, I once had to fish an earbud out of the toilet. Yuck! I do not worry about these falling out of my ears. Thank you, Jabra! I wish every other manufacturer could crack this puzzle. Final thoughts: The Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 is a fantastic product for office productivity. The strengths of the Elite 10’s are without question: all day comfort, crystal clear calls, Dolby Atmos and Spatial content, and rock-solid connectivity. In my opinion, it just doesn’t get much better than this at this price point. The Elite 10 Gen 2’s has become my daily work companion. They have replaced my Plantronic’s headset; at least for now. The headset is still excellent. But, after 20 years of headset use, it is refreshing to finally have an alternative that I can use with as much convenience and frequency as I have with a headset. The drawbacks of the Elite 10’s are poor ANC, thin midrange musical performance with stereo content, and exaggerated Hear Through. The Smart Base, which I lightly touched upon, gives a great amount of flexibility with devices that do not have native wireless support. However, the microphone is not supported by the Smart Base. At least not on the two laptops and gaming desktop that I tested the Smart Base with. I have no idea why. I also experienced occasional transmission interruptions between the Smart Base and the earbuds that caused momentary glitches in the sound. In conclusion, I really do love the Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2s even though they fall short in a few categories. I will continue to use these for everyday work including phone calls, music, and conference calls. I will buy another pair if these fail because they are that useful for my day-to-day professional and leisure activities.

Bright shiny new object - not worth the full price
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased at full price, not expecting these earbuds less 90 days latter to be discounted significantly. The reviews can say they are stellar, but if they don't sync with Teams or WebEx they are pretty much worthless in my opinion. I purchased them for work because I was tired of using wired earbuds.

Great earbuds with novel features
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The build of these headphones is great. The headphones are light but solidly built, and most importantly comfortable. They don’t fatigue my ears after long wear sessions and the ear tips are soft but grippy. There are multiple ear tips sizes included in the box to ensure a perfect fit. One thing I also appreciate about the build is physical controls. Both buds have a large button that can trigger different functions. I live in a cold weather area so physical buttons means I probably won’t have to take off my glove to use the function. The included case is nice and sturdy. The headphones magnetically connect to the case so they are super easy to add and remove to the case. The case has USB-C charging, which is convenient. Battery life is great at 27 hours (with the battery case). Sound quality is overall great. I use them for a variety of content, including music, podcasts, YouTube, television, and movies. One of the features of these headphones is the inclusion of Dolby Spatial Audio. I thought that the spatial audio worked really well. in the app you can turn on head tracking which adds another element to the sound. I thought the headphones have a good neutral sound right out of the box. It was really balanced between highs, lows, and mids. Another thing I really appreciate the ability to customize your EQ in the app. I thought the active noise canceling did a great job at removing background noise. I tested these in quiet and loud settings and in both cases the background noise faded into the background. I also tested to hearthrough mode. While it works as intended, I felt like the microphones were more sensitive to ambient noise than my ears were, which led to hearing white noise in hearthrough mode. In the app, there is a way to turn down the sensitivity which helped. I also found the headphones to be sensitive to wind noise with this mode activated. I tested out the call quality and found that it worked well. The person I was speaking with was able to hear me clearly with very little background noise. I was also able to hear the person clearly. Note: in a call, active noise cancelling is automatically on and not able to be turned off. One of the coolest features of this product is the ability to connect a 3.5mm jack to the case to make any legacy wired product into a wireless one. This is especially handy in situations like an airplane entertainment system or with a school/office computer that doesn’t have Bluetooth enabled. It worked super well with no connection issues.

We are always looking to improve our users' experience, and we are glad to know that you think they are good earbuds, and we understand your disappointment that we are moving away from the consumer earbud market. Excellent earbuds with great sound and comfort!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 Dolby Atmos Noise Cancelling Wireless headphones are incredibly nice and impressive. The sound quality is amazing for their size. Design and build are top notch as well with an attractive look, various color options, and durable construction. Design and Comfort The Jabra Elite 10 features a unique oval-shaped design boasting Jabra’s proprietary ComfortFit technology, which easily makes them some of the most comfortable earbuds I’ve ever owned. Their fit is very comfortable and secure without delving too deep into my ears and causing discomfort. They come in various colors which is nice for personalization, or if you’re like me with several kids it really helps when there are options, and we can tell everyone’s apart from one another. Sound Quality Sound quality is amazing on these Jabra Elite 10’s. They deliver crystal high and deep rich bass for a totally balanced audio experience. The Dolby Atmos support also offers completely immersive spatial sound which works great while watching movies or videos on a phone or tablet. Active Noise Cancellation The Elite 10s employ Jabra's wonderful Advanced active noise cancellation. They automatically adjust to your surroundings to cancel out background noises. This feature works very well, especially with call quality on phone calls by removing wind and other background noises while on calls. Battery Life and Connectivity These earbuds offer excellent battery life, I haven’t outlasted them yet. Also support multi-device pairing which I love, as well as a companion app for total customization and equalizer. Value for cost I feel these earbuds are priced competitively within the current market of comparable earbuds. They provide great overall value when you look at their broad feature set and overall usability. Overall, I have really enjoyed using these Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 earbuds. I think they are a great option in the earbud market and an excellent choice for those prioritizing comfort, call quality, and a terrific listening experience.

Terrible Delivery/Refund Experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Terrible experience with the delivery and trying to get a refund. Apparently BB uses Roadie for deliveries. They didn't make the delivery on the 1st attempt. No 2nd attempt, just said it was being returned. Purchased the item in-store the next day. Tried for a month to get a refund. BB customer service kept telling me "the refund is in progress". Spent hours with CS to finally get a refund. Never again.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.when I first bought these I love them. I did notice I was unable to do a firmware update right away but they worked and I was happy with them. Then the case started losing 90% of its charge in a few hours. I contacted Best Buy customer service and they basically told me I was out of luck with them. I then contacted Jabra and you can only communicate with them via email once a day. I’m out $280.

Fantastic in ear, earbuds.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are very nice and great performing in ear earbuds. Pairing and set up was a breeze to my phone. And also able to pair up with my iPad as well, and you get notification that two devices are paired. The controls are very nice and easy to get to for each earbud. Right ear controls a specific set of functions while the left ear earbud controls another set of specific functions. I have listened to music extensively after a week and also watched movies and programs and shows and also have done phone calls and zoom meets with the earbuds. They have performed very well in all situations giving me very nice clarity in a variety Of cases. One of the coolest features that I have enjoyed so far is using the Jabra sound app. It is a very functional app that gives you access to various settings. Allows you use a various sound mode which you can access directly. Also has Dolby spatial sound settings and you can utilize head tracking off or on. One of the coolest features on the app is you have a music equalizer with six presets and a customization, which gives you access to adjusting an equalization curve with five different Bands which I assume PEQ. Including 60 Hz, 250 Hertz, 1 kHz 4 kHz and 7.6 kHz, Which is more than other earbuds I’ve used and they are not just simply tone controls Of base in trouble. I feel the earbuds are very comfortable, and I can wear them for extended periods without causing irritation to my ears. They have four different sizes small, medium, large and extra large, and I went back-and-forth between the medium and the large and settled on the medium for now. Lar is just too uncomfortable. They are easy to pull off and place on. Just make sure you have the right orientation, when putting the earbuds onto the device. There are some negatives with these earbuds, which I found not too major. I watched movies with it with the Dolby sound spatial and wasn’t quite impressed that it did create a Dolby Atmos effect when comparing it to my true Dolby Atmos home theater. Additionally I’m not too impressed with the noise canceling feature although it does muffle outside sounds it is not as robust as headphones. So far forgivable but that’s why I’m giving it four stars in instead of five. As far as the sound quality, I really think these Have outstanding Sound quality and get very good bass Much better Then other earbuds I have used. The mids and the highs are very detailed as well. The various EQ settings do make a difference and you can play around with the various presets or make your own like I did and mix it up with various music genres and or movies and media. I do recommend these. These are cool.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The battery life is terrible, have uneven battery life. When the right earbud is 80%, the left earbud only has 50%. Also, it’s not waterproof! The sound quality/ANC is worse than AirPods Pro and even my $20 Moondrop Space Travel. And it will not auto connect your iPhone! Now I know why this product line has been discontinued.

high-quality, comfortable, and customizable in-ear
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently picked up Jabra's new Elite 10 Gen 2 Wireless In-ear headphones with the smart case, and they’ve quickly become my go-to for all my streaming and music needs. Right out of the box, I was impressed by the premium build and durability of the smart charging case. It has a sleek design that feels solid and durable, protecting the earbuds while keeping them charged and ready to go. The earbuds themselves continue this trend of premium quality. They fit comfortably in my ears, and I can wear them for extended periods without any discomfort. The ergonomic design is perfect for lounging around, whether I’m watching movies or listening to music. They’re lightweight and don’t cause that annoying pressure some in-ear headphones can create after a while. The sound quality is consistent with Jabra’s renowned quality for producing ear buds with a full spectrum and an immersive sound. The Dolby Atmos feature provides an audio experience that brings my movies and music to life. It’s like having a personal surround sound system in my ears. The noise cancelling effectively blocks out background noise so I can focus on my content. Using the Sound+ app, I can fine-tune the sound to my liking. Whether I want more bass for my music or a balanced sound for movie, the app provides the flexibility to customize my listening experience. It’s easy to use and adds a layer of personalization that I appreciate. While I haven’t used these for workout sessions as I have another set of earbuds, I prefer for that, I’m thoroughly impressed with their performance for streaming movies and music. The battery life is solid, and the smart case ensures they’re always charged and ready to go. Jabra’s Elite 10 Gen 2 earbuds are a fantastic choice for anyone looking for high-quality, comfortable, and customizable in-ear headphones. The Dolby Atmos feature and the Sound+ app elevate the listening experience, making them perfect for streaming and lounging. If you’re in the market for premium wireless earbuds, these are definitely worth considering.

Great Jabra Earbuds!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Jabra - Elite 10 Gen 2 Dolby Atmos Noise Cancelling Wireless In-ear Headphones with Smart Case - Soft White The Jabra Elite Gen2 Earbuds are attractive and comfortable. I used them, among other things, while gaming, and the audio flow was strong and clear (you can tweak the sound settings to your preference through the available app for your smartphone). I found it quite interesting that the Spatial Sound and Dolby Head Tracking actually worked as advertised! While watching a game video, when you turn your head to the left from the video you’ll hear more sound from the right earbud, and if you turn your head to the right away from the video you’ll hear more sound from the left…but there’s more to it than that because if you turn 180 degrees from the source of the sound you’ll “hear” the sound coming from behind you. So, you’re hearing what your ears normally hear without earbuds. That makes gaming more life-like for sure. The Elite 10 Gen2 is super-easy to pair to your computer, phone, TV etc. The earbuds have an actual depressible button that comprises the outer flat surface of each earbud that you use for normal things like answering a call, hanging up from a call, turning ANC on or off, adjusting sound, pause/unpause a video etc. But when you want to pair them to a device, place them in your ear and depress the button on both earbuds for about 3 seconds. You’ll then hear instructions to go to your BT settings of your device. Once you do that, on a laptop I have and a TV as well, pairing occurred almost instantly with streaming sound immediately following. Quick and easy. Of course, the Elite 10 Gen2 earbuds will automatically switch between 2 devices that you’ve already paired the earbuds with when you move from one to another. With the multiple microphones built into the earbuds, your voice is heard clearly (subject to your phone’s signal strength as you would expect) to anyone you’re talking to using your earbuds rather than your phone’s microphone. The earbuds come with 1 set of small EarGels (they easily mount and dismount from your earbuds), 1 set of large EarGels and 2 sets of medium EarGels (one set is already mounted on the earbuds in the case). You also receive a USB-C cable with a 3.5 mm adapter on one end for use when plugging it into a standard audio jack on a device like a sound system or TV. I’ll comment on this further in a moment. The carrying case has its own battery to keep your earbuds charged when stored in the case. The case has a USB-C port on the bottom to plug into a USB-C port to keep the case charged. I didn’t test this, but Jabra states the case provides up to 36 hours of charge for the earbuds with the ANC turned off – I think they say that with ANC on the case will allow the buds to go for about 27 hours using the case. The case will also accept wireless charging. I used the earbuds continuously from 5:30 AM to 10:30 AM starting with 100% charge and going down to zero charge for a use time of 5 hours. This is comparable to many good earbuds on the market. However, the case will charge 1 hour if the buds are placed in the case for about 5 minutes. So, fast charging is built in so it wouldn’t take long to run the charge back up to 100% if needed. My only disappointment was when I used the case plugged into my TV’s audio jack. You’re supposed to be able to plug the supplied USB-C cord into the earbuds case and the other end into either a USB outlet or use the 3.5 mm adapter to plug into your TV’s audio jack. Once that’s done you press the button on the front of the case to begin streaming wirelessly to your earbuds from whatever you have it plugged into: TV, exercise equipment, in-flight entertainment system etc. I followed the instructions first using the 3.5 mm audio port and then using a USB port, both on my TV, but I couldn’t get it to stream audio to the earbuds. It’s possible I didn’t do the steps exactly right, or possibly my TV brand may have been the issue – I really don’t know. I paired the earbuds through BT with my TV with no issue, other than the common issue of the sound being stopped from routing through the TV speakers – this is a commonly known issue with TV’s and using BT earbuds or headphones with them. Sound only comes through one or the other with TV’s unless you do a complicated/expensive workaround. In the instructions it didn’t say that having the smart case plugged into your TV would use BT, and I got the impression it used another way, one that I hoped would leave the sound coming through the TV speakers as well as the Elite 10 Gen2 earbuds. I plan to do a little more research into this to see if using the smart case this way will allow the earbuds and TV speakers to output sound from both at the same time. It would be useful for me since my hearing isn’t what it used to be. Other than my puzzlement stated above, I really like the Jabra Elite 10 Gen2 earbuds. I really have no complaints, and if it’s possible to stream sound from the TV while allowing sound through its speakers, I’ll really be happy all the way around!

Wouldn’t recommend
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They sound nice but they keep dropping connection and of course it happens after the return date is over. I was trying to find an alternative to Apple AirPods Pro 2 but this isn’t it. Battery life is not the best.

Unhappy Customer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound quality was horrible. I have the Elite 85t and thought I would upgrade...not so much. The main reason I returned the product is the delivery. It was canceled numerous times and when it finally arrived, the box was damaged and half opened. Horrible experience.
